For the folk that say Meghan didn't have an agenda in marrying Harry.........?
Why do you think she put her name on Archie's birth certificate (as his mother), then before quitting the responsibility of royal life, she had his birth certificate altered to show his mother as 'HRH The Duchess of Sussex'?

Ofcourse she did!Nearing 40 and her prospects looking slim she travelled to the UK looking for a rich husband, then she made sure her alleged pimp In Canada set up the blind date with not so smart Harry! The rest is history

Everyone has an agenda when they marry, don't they?
The fuss over the birth certificate seems odd. She is is properly using her name.

Even if she had, what on earth does that have to do with her reason for marrying him?

I believe there is a standard format for birth certificates, Royal or otherwise. Perhaps it didn't meet Meghan's expectations and is not the American way but, the child wasn't born in U.S.A, it was born in the U.K and it is OUR rules, regulations and laws, that are adhered to, NOT hers! As the Queen so diplomatically said "Meghan gets what she is given". Who the hell does she think she is, the demanding little ingrate?!

Trolls always say this.

She didn't alter the certificate. The Palace did, using its preferred form.
How interesting that someone's claiming both she and her mother had an "agenda". Precisely the same claim was made about Kate Middleton and HER mother, even down to the witchcraft implication. Such lack of originality.
When it comes to resentment of and attacks on women who marry into royal families, it's always the same old, same old.
By the way, it's difficult to take the anti-Meghanites seriously when they are so often ill-informed and making incorrect claims.

Trying to put the expectations of someone that isn't a royal at birth to know everything about royalty is incorrect.

Meghan did not make those changes; courtiers did. It was the traditional way to list the mother of a royal. Meghan complained that by erasing her name, they were trying to erase her existence as a separate entity, a person in her own right.
