How many years are required to crack the UPSC Exam?
It depends on person to person. You can study for 8-10 hours a day, but make it worth at the end of each day. Some people spend many hours but do not get successful. But there are some people with continuing their job and some people who also give full time and crack the exam. So from this reviews hours is not going to matter or calculate. Whatever time table u make is connected through your mental ability because everyone has different capacity and different choice. But when you are studying don’t read too much at a time. Generally, it is the law of psychology one cannot remember everything more than 45 min at a time, take 5-10 min breaks, u can also have a nap in the afternoon so the reception level of your mind is highest so read-only that you can understand and memorise.
Generally, an aspirant takes 11-12 months for the preparation of UPSC exam and there is no apt number of hours and days that will ensure the ticket to become an IAS. Preparation should be clearly based on the syllabus and smart study is needed. There should be some time on hands to revise it thoroughly before sitting for the exam. One such platform is crackIAS which provides a personal mentor. Further, they have test series, Video Lectures covering all topics of GS Pre/ Mains & CSAT, Mentorship with the Director on weekly basis, Expert live video sessions on a weekly basis for CSAT and much more.
