To the Omnitarians, Vegetarians, and Vegans, Where Will You Go From Here? ?

Where will you go from here, as the days of Yahoo Answers is rapidly now drawing to a close. To the some of the omnitarians, vegetarians, and vegans, that I've enjoyed some discourse with in the past, when comments were still permitted, and I will miss those of you with whom I did.  However there are others regardless of whatever the dietary preference was, whom I won't miss. Among the omnitarians I'll miss Polly, ckngbbbls, Jeff (H I believe he used), TBK, Roy S, and a few others whose diet is similar to mine. Now  among the vegetarians Banner#18 Beantown, the vegans will be lo_mcg, mermaid, Louis, and M'aiq The liar. There are others whom I'll miss, but hasn't posted in some time now. Some ended up blocked, mainly due to trolling, with some more due to what I consider willful ignorance. The trolls I won't miss that much is for certain.

Now that the demise of Yahoo Answers is nigh, it's time to bid a sad adieu to some of you. However I'll be moving on, and have been on Reddit, trying to help those who play Pokemon Go, and are spoofers. I created my own sub or group over there, and mainly with to have a PoGo Open Spoofer Corner. I originally and something I never spoke of, took the Pokemon Go up as a part of my cardiac recovery plan, after having to let my walking area go, post heart attack six years, and almost a month ago now. I knew long before that, what my odds were of having one was. But that was due to family genetics, and not diet so much.

So if any of you I mentioned has a Reddit account, I've been amiable with, want to drop by and say howdy, feel free to do so.

By the way when I first came to this section, it wasn't to answer questions, but to deal with a couple off teen trolls. Which one did seem to amend his ways, and had shown signs of maturing. I had the ability to take out troll posts, without any help, that is until the programming for Yahoo Answers became botched up. I never thought I'd answer questions here, and yet I ended up knowing things that I hope proved helpful regardless of dietary or lifestyle preferences.

By the way Daisy I've unblocked you, if you're still around, to allow you at least the courtesy if you wish to say goodbye. As for those others that's been blocked, that block will remain in place.

I was just thinking the other day of people whom I'll miss when this place closes & you definitely entered my thoughts.

You've taught me so much about nutrition & life in general Wendigo. You've been an absolute gentleman over the years & I appreciate & respect the unbiased knowledge that you passed on to me.There were times when you had to be "no nonsense" with me but you were always tactful & decent in encouraging & guiding me to aspire to a higher standard when dealing with folks with dietary & nutritional differences to mine.I hope to get a chance to say goodbye to you properly over the next couple of days, but if I can't, I want to take this opportunity say Thank-you Sir & that it's been an honour & pleasure to have you as a part of my V&V yahoo answers life.

Source(s): PoGoSpooferOpenCorner (Yonderwolf) Got it...Thanks again Wendigo :)

Thanks for the kind words Wendigo. I have respected you and your contributions  too.

I haven’t contributed much on YA recently; l’m a bit sad but not at all surprised by its closure - it’s barely used these days.

It’s a shame YA no longer allows emails to other users; there are a few l’d like to say goodbye to.

Most sickening aspect of the imminent closure is the the worst of the teenage trolls you refer to (teenage no longer, of course) has recommenced trolling me in the Cancer section.

    My best wishes to you

    L

The good and bad about YA is that 99.9% of the answers can be found using a simple google search - so for the most part not necessary. Then there are forums available (albeit you wold need to sign up to post a question) on the .1% of the questions that may need some disambiguation.....but always a better bet than answers from YA users. Especially Pearl L.

The second 'bad' is that you come to realize just how stupid, gullible, lazy to a fault so many of the people are who NEED to ask a question (not just the idiot trolls - real questions that wouldn't even need to be asked if the person had a lick of common sense).  The good - is that it offered a random way to spark interest and learning - question sparks some interest then look up the answer and maybe read more about the inquiry and learn something useful. It will be missed but not as a source of information but a source of entertainment.
