Do you think mythical creatures are real?

What, like all of them?  Of course not.  I don't even really believe in the ones I wish were real, like Bigfeet and Nessies.

But when you get into stuff like leprechauns, fairies (not the ones at the biker bars), chupacabras, vampires, krakens, Jedi warriors, sober Canadians, the moistened bint with the scimitar, La Llorona, honest politicians, talking horses and such, well now you're just getting ridiculous.

Obviously not - the word 'mythical' means that they do not really exist.  If a creature was previously thought to be mythical but is then discovered to be real, it's no longer mythical.

Some  myths are based in facts.  Sometimes the facts are sketchy and sometimes they might be real.  Gorillas were a myth 200 years ago but then they were proved to exist.
