I have never known gray to bleed in the wash.
New black jeans and black shirt could bleed. Wash the dark blue and black shirt separately for the first wash.
Don’t put denim jeans in with any other clothes. Jeans are very rough and the can cause pilling on other garment when washed together.

When clothes are being washed for the first couple times I'm careful about the colors, especially with jeans. Jeans tend to lose dye in the wash. After the first couple washes that stops and I mix colors with no problems.
