Everyone is outraged and the media posts an innocent looking pic of him like he's an innocent child.  But there is a reason why you don't run away from the police when they are chasing you.  I mean you can if you want to be dumb.

He was high on something illegal. Remember. Nothing good happens on the streets after Midnight. He should have been asleep. 2:30 a.m. on the streets.

He preferred to be called "Lil Diablo or Lil Homicide"...

That was not a "boy."  He was a man, with a gun. Out at 2:30 a.m.   It's tragic, but his family failed him.  And it's common to try to blame someone else for the outcome.

he was shot because he tried to shot some one , and he stole the car .. and the police didnt know if he hid the gun in hes lap ..The autopsy showed he was on drugs too .Would a normal 13 y/o do that and be out 2.30 am .Seems you left out some facts didnt you !!!

There has been no suggestion of drug use by this 13 year old, although a planned autopsy might change this initial report.  Use of such a drug is illegal, but not normally punished with a death sentence in the USA

Hard to say , there was definitely a gun found nearby.

While I can’t defend the police who killed George Floyd, American culture has created a society where potentially every one has a gun, and yet the police are expected to make 100% correct split second decisions, where their own lives are on the line.

From what I saw, the boy turned slowly with one hand not visible. What can the police do? Shot and you’ve killed someone innocent, don’t shoot and you die. I know what I’d do.
