Can you have kidney disease with normal labs and ultrasound?
I've had consistently normal labs (eGFR > 90, creatinine < 1.05, BUN < 15, no protein in urine, normal CBC), and an abdominal ultrasound that showed normal kidneys with normal cortical thickness. Add to that I'm asymptomatic, age 40, male, healthy weight, no diabetes or any health problems. I had the ultrasound for another reason.
Is it still possible to have CKD with normal labs and ultrasound?
Note that I'm not asking for a diagnosis - it's just a general question.
Lab guy - No pain or symptoms. As I mentioned in my description, I am asymptomatic. I am just asking a question.

If everything is normal and no indication of renal disease then why would you ask such a question if you weren't worried about it? What has you worried is more important than sending us down a rabbit hole. Did you have pain or what?

Acronyms:
GFR Glomerular filtration rate. The volume of fluid filtered through the kidneys.
ACR Urine albumin to creatinine ratio
CKD is defined as kidney damage or glomerular filtration rate (GFR) < 60 for 3 months or more, irrespective of cause.
I'd say you do not have CKD.
