I stop drinking soda by accident last week. However, I don't know why, but I don't want to eat sugar and watch what I eat. Is that good?

I was addicted. Today, I was going to buy some more chocolate ice cream, but I already lost a few lbs. and I felt different after I stop drinking soda because I didn't had the time to go buy some more last week. I was going to buy some more junk foods, but I ended up thinking I better wait. I'm more careful. Do you think I should had ate those things? Did I made the right move? I felt different and that's why.

Update:

I just went to the grocery store and was about to buy some more coca cola, but I changed my mind. I was thinking how I feel now and decided not to buy more or any ice cream or cookies.

Junk food is just food. It like fast food, was not intended to be eaten I excess, but in moderation. Treats are just that, treats.

If you feel better by not chowing down on certain foods on a regular basic, good for you.  By the way, you didn't eat differently by accident, it was by choice. Keep making choices that benefit you.

You made the right choice even if it was by accident. You felt different because you handled yourself carefully and watched what you put in your mouth. This is how you've gained more energy. This is telling you that you need to try to avoid sugary stuffs because if you go back on it, you will get tired again and can't keep up the whole day. I'm proud of you and you're doing the right thing. Just keep it minimum and don't get hooked on sugar.
