Do SSRI drugs such as Sertraline make you smarter in the long run?

Hello,

SSRI drugs such as Sertraline, Fluoxetine, etc. increase BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor) much like physical activity. BDNF plays important roles in higher processes such as learning, memory and abstract thinking. So, this means that both physically exercise and SSRIs will enhance your productivity and possibly your intelligence and social skills?

Thanks!

I don't think so.  I don't think there is any evidence for that effect at all.
