Are biker gangs still a thing in America?

The thing is always a sham. America has a pseudo-romantic thing for rebel outlaws of all kinds. Put a guy on a loud Harley and he'll most likely fancy himself a kind of bad boy. But since the guy isn't really capable of gang life, and is attached more deeply to his comfortable life in the burbs, he's just a pretender. 

There are still some of them out there, but they are not as popular as they use to be.

The old names & colors are still around, primarily used as fronts for outlaw business enterprises.

The old fun loving greybeard riders are mostly taking their long sleep under oil stained tombstones now.
