Are these acceptable birthday gifts for my dad?
Dad likes drinking wine and new clothes. He needs some new shirts and enjoys good wine. Should I buy him three nice shirts from Lowe’s and a good bottle of wine from an expensive brand, that he can enjoy with my mum? I’m an alcoholic, so I don’t drink, but I’m fine with others drinking in front of me, as I’m only a mild one.

I thought Lowe’s was a home improvement store. Since when did it start selling clothes.
Just get him the wine. There’s no point in buying clothes for someone because you don’t know if they’ll like it or not.
