Why does Netflix continue to increase their rates despite increased competition?
I don’t get it, Netflix use to be $8 back in the day and it used to be a no brained to subscribe. But they’ve significantly increased their prices over the years and with more competition, such as Hulu, Prime and Disney plus, all of which are cheaper than Netflix, it almost seems like they are asking people to unsubscribe. How are they ok with increasing their rates when there is increased competition that’s cheaper?

The only reason they would do this is because they are trying to turn a profit. Look it up, their financials are public. I'm not sure they even profit from what they do. They have borrowed a lot of money. Anyway, use google, it's free.
