  • If you had a kitchen installed through IKEA, how much did it cost for installation?

Obviously it all depends on the size of the project, but if I could figure out the cost per cabinet that would be great! They offer Corian and granite too, so I'll probably do everything through then except appliances. (Please only respond if you have an IKEA kitchen.) Thanks!

  • For residents of Vero Beach, how's the weather?

I heard about the smoke and road closures from the fire these past few days. We're going to be staying on the beach this weekend. Is the smoke bad today? I heard they have the fires contained, but I've got asthma and would have trouble being outside if there is a lot of smoke in the air.

  • 3D model of Venus?

Hey folks, my daughter is in second grade and is doing a report on the planet Venus. She needs to include a 3D model of the planet (not the entire solar system). Anyone have any good ideas besides painting a styrofoam ball? It's orangy/brown, right? That seems boring, and I can't think of anything else to add to it. Any suggestions are appreciated!

  • Best place to Park for Free and ride to Epcot?

Wow, the parking at Disney is $11 now. What's the best place to park and take a bus to Epcot so we don't have to pay for parking? Is Boardwalk the closest resort? Any experience you've had in the past few months would be appreciated... We're only going to be there a few hours, so we can always (honestly) say we're just going to dinner. That works at the resorts, right?

  • What are the best things to do in Williamsburg, VA for FREE?

I am traveling with my husband and 7 year old daughter. I heard we can walk around the colonial town without having to pay admission? What are we missing by not paying admission? Looking through a bunch of old buildings sounds pretty boring for a 7 year old. Anything else we should see while we're there? No, we don't want to go to Busch Gardens or pay for theme park admission...

  • What does this mean on a washing machine cycle, "tap cold"?

There is another cycle for "cold", so what's this "tap cold"? The instruction manual of the machine doesn't have anything, of course. It assumes I would know such a silly question!

  • At what point do you make the decision to euthanise?

My cat is getting old. We're not sure how old she is, but we've had her for 12 years. She is getting to the point where she isn't taking care of herself (doesn't clean herself), she has stopped using the litter box, and has recurring upper respiratory infections. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow because she is hiding under the table and won't come out to be petted or anything. So, my question is, should I talk to the vet about euthanasia? She doesn't have cancer or anything like that, but I can tell she is miserable. I feel bad that I'm even thinking about it. I know that part of my reasoning is that she pees all over my carpet, but it's also because she is just not the happy cat that she once was. Have any of you had a similar experience?
