Would you agree or disagree with the idea that materialistic women find equally materialistic men? Or would you agree that materialistic women find men who will simly buy their woman material goods while sacrificing their own finances?

Hi, I'm still in high school but I may consider joining the NYPD. However, I don't know if I'm right for the job. I do pretty well in school and I'm taking a couple of AP Courses.I'm not street smart at all and I've always thought I'd find a job as a lab technician, surgeon, or professeur. I'm not that particularly sly or suave and I feel that after I get my B.A. I might just be better suited for a job where I can be promoted by academic talent. On the other hand, I think being a detective could be more rewarding then former jobs mentioned. I'm also worried that my effort will be futile in the sense that I'd want to make deterctive by the time I was thirty years old and my academic skills may not affect my promotionabuility.What do you think?

I have a Scientific Atlanta Webstar router that has 1 port that says line 1, 1 port that says line 2, 1 port that says ethernet, and 1 port that says usb. All lines have cables running through them except usb.The eternet port has a cable running to the computer.Is this router compatible with x box live? If not, what optimum cable compatible router would i need to buy?

Is it just me, or are America's youth deteiorating? 100 years ago, there were no cell phones, no aim, and no lack of discipline.Children and teens wore suits or other proclaimed "formal attire" on a regular every day basis.You never spoke up against athority and a sense of strong nationalism was maintained by everyone and their mother.Nowadays, youth wears what they please and expressing your true self is much more important than being a good American citizen. Saving the rainforrest is more important than respecting your elders and earth day is the new veterans day. Not to say that questioning the govt. is bad but taking freedoms for granted so blaitently is a terrible thing to do. Not to mention that America's young seem rude an il-bread.And on top of that, the self esteem bs that many people preach is replaceing good morals and values. Is it just me, or is society deteriorating?

I'm currently a 9th grader in high school.I've always had low self esteem.I have trouble making decisions, even menial ones , especially academically on projects, tests, and quizes because i fear that if i dont do perfectly, I'll dissapoint the teacher or my parents.i end up asking way to many "clarification" questions.I never feel i've done enough work to do well and i feel inadequite.I am always stressed and over responsible at school and in public but am also extremely relaxed and irresponsible in the confines of my house.I feel the need to always impress nearly everyone.I have alot of trouble making new friends and am extremely shy.Although many of my friends and aquaintances have started dating I've yet to even hang out with girls aside from school.Despite the fact that some girls flirt with me, I still dont do anything but answer questions and say hi.I fear rejection and take it harshly.I've never flirted with a girl that did not already like me first. I always feel overly guilty if I do something wrong and that guilt normally stays with me for a long time. I've always been dubbed neurotic.I also dont forget when i or someone else hurts me physically or emotionally.I tend to hang onto memories more than peers.I demand alot from peers and tend to work alone as I dont trust them with my grades.How can I loosen up and be more "normal"
