A 22 year -old female who loves life, mama of two beauties, and a college student. You can't tell me my life is boring! :)
Why do people do this?
I am a 26 year old female who recently started working as a 401k specialist in my department. There is a lady who is a lot older than I am who works in the same office as a retirement specialist. Both of the job titles used to be combined and it used to be just one position which she handled. She ended up saying the workload was just too much for her to take on so here I am. Now, she'll hover over me and ask if I've gotten certain things done, which is ALWAYS taken care of on my end, and just always worried about what I'm doing. If people come in to ask questions, she'll sit there and talk to them like I'm not here! I mean I don't specialize in retirement but I know how to answer most retirees questions. But I don't, because she is more informative on that and it's what she does, so I will respectfully send them her way. I know I'm young, and just because I'm good looking doesn't necessarily mean that I'm stupid.( I'm really not trying to sound conceited or self absorbed when I say that) I feel she treats me this way because of that. Maybe she feels threatened? I don't know what the issue is, and I can't talk to her because she just has this attitude like she doesn't need to pay me any attention. Does anybody have any insight as to why she acts like this towards me? I normally just ignore her, but it gets to be too much to handle at times. I take care of my duties in this position and that's all that anybody needs to worry about.
5 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoWhere would Aaliyah be in her career today?
She was extremely talented in her singing and acting career and extremely gorgeous. In the direction that most young women in the industry have gone, where do you think she would be today? Just bored, trying to pass time and get other opinions. :)
2 AnswersR&B & Soul9 years agoI have an 8 year old "reserved" daughter, how can I bring out of her shell?
My daughter is from a previous relationship and we now share custody with me bring the primary parent. Her dad and I have not been together since she was 2, and I am now in another relationship, we have an almost 4 year old daughter together. My 8 year old has ALWAYS been so happy, outgoing and silly. Lately I've been noticing she gets quiet. I have tried talking to her numerous times, different approaches and she is now slowly coming out of it. I know factors such as her parents not being together anymore have played a role in some of it. I've also talked to her about that as well and know how she feels about that, her step dad and sister. I grew up without my mom in my life since I was one and my dad raised me. So I kind of feel like the fact that my mom wasn't there to talk to me and my dad never really talking to me at all gives me the lower hand on how to deal with my own kids. Don't get me wrong, I really try even though I may feel like I don't think what I'm saying is the right thing to say or how to approach the situation. I would like to get some helpful advice from some loving mothers who can suggest anything I might try differently. Or even if you're a daughter of a mother who is just always there for you and knows what to say? Thank you.

1 AnswerHair1 decade agoWhy do older women do this? ?
I had always wondered why women who are older like say 30s talk about younger women like they are back in high school again? I just want personal opinions or thoughts. I know that it has nothing to do with the way a young lady carries herself. So that's ruled out.

11 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoGuys help me understand!?
I've been with my boyfriend for a little over a year and we have a beautiful 2month old babygirl together. I stay home and take care of her so therefore I cook, clean and take care of him as well. When it comes to sex, yea we've just started up again because of my post-partum recovery. Thing is, I don't give it to him every night like he would like but when we do have it, it's pleasurable for both of us. and it's not like it's once a month either! When he gets horny and I ask him what's wrong he snaps at me and then ignores me. It really upsets and hurts me that he acts this way. I mean I can't help that his sexual needs are more than mine are...why does he do this? and is that a sign that he may possibly cheat on me? Why can't you guys just be appreciative of what we do at home and when we do give it up to you? Please help me in understanding this....

12 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoHow do I break out of it?
I come from a small town where everybody knows everybody. I've been living in a city for over a year now and I don't talk to anybody. I would like to make some friends but the thing is I'm a very reserved person, very shy around people I don't know. My question is, what are some good ways to break out of this? I'm a very interesting person and I would like for others to know that as well. I'm not as mean as I look! Not mean at all! lol. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
