Basically theres nothing wrong with our relationship but the thing is for christmas or birthdays etc. he will get my presents like css and gig tickets which i enjoy (he is a big music fan) there are a lot of bands/artists we both like but he will get me cds of bands that he knows i don t listen to so i can get to like them or get me gig tickets to his favourite band because they are playing the city i live in (were both at uni so in different cities through term time) and its like oh .. well you would be going anyway, and you know you ll be stopping at mine so you might as well have gotten me a ticket and then call it a present.

Its not that im ungrateful for the tickets and don t go or anything but i just want to kinda say hey, it would be nice if you got me tickets for my birthday for a band I like? not something only you like and i just get dragged along to because its in manchester

know what I mean? am i a bad person?

should i just keep accepting the presents or say something? what should i say?

(this has been going on for 3 years now by the way)

Basically i have done 4 assignments so far and i've finished my 1st semester. I have only had the grade back for the first 2 so far and i got in them 40% in both.

We need at least 40% to pass and Im thinking to myself I have never had bad grades i've always been above average in education and to only just be passing I'm wondering to myself should I bother sticking it out?

I do TV and Radio and the first semester has been TV so i mean I might do better in radio I don't know but its really getting me down thinking about getting my other 2 assignments back. We don't have any exams so it just goes on those grades.

Everyone has told me your first year is so easy and you don't even have to try and I'm thinking well...if I am only just passing should I even bother with the second year or will it just be a waste of money and time?

Has anyone else found this a problem and it has been fine in there second year or do you think if this carries on I would be better off quitting?

I have only juts turned 18 (about an month ago) and i didn't have any valid id prior to turning 18 and im going to this concert at academy 3 which i should be fine for but after were going to academy 1 for an over 18s gig and i got a citizens card because it gets here quickly and i needed some id fast where also suppose to be going to some bars and stuff after. Should i get in with a citizens card?

i have a passport however its out of date and the picture was taken when i was 12/13 so it doesn't really look like me anymore but i thought if i take that as proof my date of birth etc. is correct an id have my bank card and my citizens card i should be ok right?

im reading a play and the stage instructions say

' they move now in slow motion beginning to show anguish.'

so i open imovie and it will not let me start a new project, and when i browse my videos and pictures the thumbnails of my videos are all there but it wont let me preview them, its as if they are all pictures.

It wont let me start any kind of new project so i actually cannot do anything. I have downloaded the newest version of iMovie but it still continued to not work

any help would be incredibly appreciated thank you

I had a problem with iMovie on my macbook pro a while ago, i had done some projects messing around with it and they had disappeared i didn't really think anything of it because they were just things i was messing around with, i didn't use iMovie for a long time on this macbook.

Someone i know has asked me to edit this film for them because she tried doing it on iMovie herself and got very confused, she asked if i could do it for her, and as i can't see her a lot and she needs her laptop she suggested that she put the project on a flashdrive and i would put it onto my macbook from hers. She did this and just now i have tried to open the project, it opens imovie but non of the film comes onto the project.

can someone please explain what i would need to do to get this to work

i read somewhere that they are already on sale, but i also read that the tickets that have been on sale are the pre-sale tickets.

does this mean it is £150 or £1500?

my friend thought it could mean £150 deposit and but the whole car is £1500 ?

i have messed around and made a few practice websites but never i proper one that someone is actually going to use for there business.

My friend and his Dad run a business and have been for a few years and they think it's time to get a website, they were going to ask this guy to do it for them but he messed them around a bit and was going to charge them £1,000 and they were a bit 'iffy' on him.

I was explaining to my friend the other day that i mess around with website and he asked if i could design them a web page, he said he will pay and everything so i said ok.

I have no idea how much i should charge.

I have made logos and website banners for people (again friends) but I always felt bad about charging them so i just let them have it for free because i felt bad about charging them for it (which is wrong as they now use them as part of there organisation)

But this friend of mine insists that he pay me, so how much should i charge for a website?

we were going out for a year and a half and then we hit rocky ground and we decided mutually to take a break for a while im going to meet with him today, to talk about what we want to do. We have been apart for about 3 weeks and i have missed him.

We had been out and the first night out we had being single i was drunk(im very easily drunk because i usually don't drink) and so was he i was very upset bout missing him and i had some drinks and we ended up kissing. The second weekend i saw him i had been drinking too (we were out again at a friends 18th) and he was there and we talked about stuff and then i got upset because we were talking and my friends decided to have a go at him (i didn't know about this and was angry when i found out) and he left.

i was talking to my ex in the middle of the week, he said he doesn't want to go out with em because he doesn't like me drinking, i said i was upset both weekends and i was out. He said he didn't want to get together because he feels like im an alcoholic. I said that wasn't true and he was being stupid he then said if i want us to get back together i have to prove to him i can go out without drinking.

The 3rd weekend we were out single and i was at a friends house before we went out(i was the only one not drinking because of what he had said) and then we went out. a few hours had past and the band had finished and i was meant to talk to me ex, my friends has told me they were all going out somewhere else after wards i said that i needed to talk to my ex and i will try to be quick to get a taxi with them, if not i will get one by myself and meet them there, i had to be at the place by 12 before they do lock in(so nobody else can go inside). So i went and talked with my ex and we said about how much we missed each other and stuff. Then i said i had to book a taxi for 11.45 to get the other place before 12 and he said about how i always ditch him for my friends. Even though he knew we were going to be talking the next day anyway (and also i, on numerous occasions when we were going out, ditched my friends when i was with them just to spend an hour with him) i said that me staying here talking to him wouldn't be fair because i told them i would meet them there. He went in a mood and i stayed with him.

We carried on talking and he said about how he was looking to see if anyone was chatting me up, he wouldn't like it because even though he knows we are not going out in him mind im still his. Also he was saying about me not drinking tonight and that i need to prove to him i care about him, i can't drink at this other thing (its 12 band on over 12 hours locally it only happens twice a year and its the biggest night out here really and everyone goes in fancy dress). He said i can't have a drop of alcohol throughout the whole event and its not even the fact that he doesn't want me to drink, i just feel stupid having to 'prove' myself to him. is that wrong to feel that way?

i still love him but he's the first proper relationship i've ever had is it normal for people to want you to do things like that?

he doesn't want me to drink because he says im not the same person when i've been drinking. I wasn't planning on getting drunk but having a couple of drinks throughout the whole 12 hours, plus me and my friends are going in a group for one of there birthdays, she wants us to go to her house half way through to play drinking games etc. and if that's whats going to happen i just feel like i don't want to go? i have been looking forward to this all year and now i feel like im not going to be able to enjoy it...

He said to me last night also that we wont be going back out until after this even because if i drink any alcohol while were there i obviously don't love him enough and he does not want to go out with me.

what do you think i should say to him?

do you think he's possessive ? or is he not and im just being silly because relationships are like that?

im 16 and i live in a little town i have asked every shop every cafe and every pub i cannot get a job anywhere. either they do not have any jobs available or there only hiring over 18s.

There is a year long waiting list for paper rounds at the moment (As there is only 1 news agents) and you get £8 a week for delivering 60-80 papers 6 days a week i have done this before and it rains ALOT! here even in summer and it was a lot to ask at the time and there are no paper rounds left.

I have asked the pubs and they said they are not hiring anymore glass collectors, or if they are they want 18 year olds because they can serve aswel as collect glasses.

I can't babysit because every here hires family to do that sorta thing as its not a very big town and every1 has family living here.

i have considered doing online survey to get money i have seen that is a good way to make money can i do it if im 16?

could anyone recommend a few good websites?

or any other way i could try to make money?

My boyfriend and i have been going out for over a year. He is 2 years older then me. He moved to the town we live in a few years ago and didn't stay at the school long instead he dropped out and went to work for his dads company which he now part owns. As he didn't stay in school long he doesn't have many friends here he has 4 friends his own age (all the rest are people he's worked with and are like 30+ and married etc.)

Him and 2 of his friends are 18 the other is 17. 1 has gone into the army, one (his best friend) has his selection for the army soon and the other is going to uni soon.

I am hoping to go to uni aswel

im worried about him because if we break up he will have nobody...

Im just worried he's going to end up alone...

i realise were all approaching that age were everyone goes off and does there own thing but hes not the most social person in the world, and i love him and don't want him to end up on his own.

im getting really upset and worried thinking about this isn't been playing on my mind since he mentioned it 4 hours ago

is there anything i can do to make myself less worried?

or calm down a bit? or something? anything? I feel so guilty...

So i wanted to dye my hair red (i've never dyed my hair before) and to see what it will look like and get every ones opinion i wanted to dye it red for the day then me and everyone else can see what it looks like.

i have this throbbing pain in my upper right arm NOT in my shoulder though

i had this pain last night about the same time aswel i googled it but everywhere else said they had it in the arm AND shoulder i don't have in in my shoulder i don't think it is a heart attack is it??

Its not a massive pain more just a nagging pain on both occasions just before im wanting to go to sleep.

is it something or ma i being irrational?

I'm becoming quite good on photoshop and i have already designed some logos and banners for some people

- a local band

- a local theatre

etc.

and im good with air brushing and making photos look professionally edited.

a few friends have suggested that i charge and set up a website and create banners for websites, logos for upcoming businesses and edit photos for people (changing backgrounds, airbrushing, changing colours of things, slimming people down etc.

im not saying it should be a main source of income but mainly a way to earn a bit of money as i am currently a student it could be a nice little way to make a bit of extra cash, as photoshopping is a hobby of mine anyway...
