I think i have a failing hard drive ,been slow and very odd is the only way i can describe it!

I checked the Event Viewer and 150 disk warnings/errors .

Then i noticed "Ntfs" warnings these in my event viewer are Category 2 Event id 57?

Never heard of these what is going on?

I have some cds where the label side is going slightly green.

(Like brass money goes after a lot of handling.)

Is it safe to give a gentle clean?

Any help appreciated.

I have read this in a well known magazine and a suspicious of Wikipedia being the source.

I have never heard of the above before, i can only find it on Wikipedia .

Blues Screen error , 8 attempts to reinstall Win7, a "missing boot manager" error and a phantom hard drive? The phantom hard drive i can't access and has stats of 0 free space 0 used space.

I appear to have a faulty memory? I recall the late Errol Flynn being in an early movie of this.

A little help with a mystery please!

I woke up one morning last week to find my tongue stuck.

Couldn't move it and couldn't swallow.

It was stuck to the inside of the lower jaw .

I tryed taking a drink of water then realised i couldn't swallow! I couldn't talk either for a few mins.

Has anyone any idea what this was or what caused it?

Would i be right in thinking that an installed but not registered bullgaurd can do this? I got a new laptop and having tryed everything including a call to my broadband provider.Finally i took Bullguard off!
