Should I buy a new CPU?

I'm afraid my current Ryzen 5 5600x CPU is outdated and I'm thinking of buying a Ryzen 7 5800x. Should I buy a new CPU? The one I have right now is one of the sowest in the line-up.

Is Hard Drive write speed equal between SSDs and HDDs?

If there is a HDD with a max write speed of 400 MBps and a SDD with a max write speed of 400 MBps, will they perform exactly the same (in terms of speed) or will the SSD be faster simply because it is a Solid-State Drive? I know that SSDs are generally faster because they don't have a physical mechanism (disk) and they store information a bit differently, but I don't know how it works if the read/write speeds are the same as an HDD (especially if they are the same brand).

Can anyone please explain to me WHY people are using CAR COOLANT in their PC's cooling system?

This has got to be one of the most dumbest  things people could do to their PCs. Not only will car coolant (ethylene glycol) prevent the computer's cooling system from working efficiently because it is NOT a better heat conductor than water, but this will also short out the CPU and GPU once the coolant turns to battery acid! This coolant will also EAT away at the gaskets and cause a leak.

Ethylene glycol's MAIN purpose is to inhibit corrosion from metal parts.

is Microsoft at fault or Canada Computers?

Is it my graphics card? GTX 1660ti Ryzen 7 3700X 8-CP

    16GB of RAM.

1TB of local disk 460 GB free.

    Is something bottlenecking

The original was Ryzen 3 was a prebuilt installed with windows 10 or windows 8. It started giving me disk issues, flash memory die out. From there got a new flash memory and power supply than later on a new motherboard and Ryze 7 alongside new copy of windows 10 which you think they should've formatted it.  The started up does take long, so I should be in the clear or not?

Why is a very large amout of ram needed for AI?

    Favourite answer:

The larger the RAM the higher the amount of data it can handle hence faster processing. With larger RAM you can use your machine to perform other tasks as the model trains.

A friend says his hard drive is broken?

I hardly know anything about technology, I don't really know what he means when he says "hard drive". All I know is he says his hard drive fell off a table, and now it's broken beyond repair.

If it's an external hard drive, those things seem pretty strong, it seems like it would have to fall off a very high table to be broken beyond repair. What else could he mean by "hard drive"?

If you're wondering what this is about, he has something on the hard drive I want, he promised to send me via Google Drive. He's been taking a very long time, and then all of a sudden he said his hard drive broke. I suspect he's lying, and he's just too lazy to send it.

So my main questions are, is it possible for a hard drive, whatever kind, to be broken beyond repair by falling off a table? And if it is, is there any way to get the files back?

Should I return this PSU or nah?

I found a really good deal for this 650 Watt Cougar GEX650 Gold Plus Modular PSU and I grabbed it before it sold out. The issue is that I'm hesitant to open it because it may not be for what I want in the long run. I'm looking at purchasing a 750 watt psu from either Cooler Master or Corsair which coast around $160-$170. Should I go trust in this PSU and hope for the best or should I do more research and pay more? I'll be using it for my ryzen 5000 series CPU and RTX 3070.

How can I recover the files from my WD my book drive?

My old WD my book is old enough that it used an IDE hard drive. The circuit board that connects to the drive, power supply and usb went bad, and someone threw it and the housing out before I could get information written down. If I hook it up with an IDE adapter, all files show as RAW, so I can’t do anything with them. It’s got the backups of all my important documents, books from school, and photos of my family. Does anyone have any information on how to recover them, and any software that doesn’t cost a lot?

Is it essential to buy a good CPU cooler?

My CPU came with a cooler but it's not exactly the best so I want to buy a new and stronger cooler. For now can I just use it until I buy a new one or is that a bad idea?

What graphics card do I need to game this resolution?

I want a graphics card to game at 1440p with MAX settings enabled ALSO a minimum of average 70fps. Don't tell me to buy something expensive like the rtx 3080, I don't have all the money to spend on a graphics card. I can possibly stretch to around $750 USD.
