A loose power connection can drain the battery and many computer making beeping noises are only a warning that power is lost and a shutdown is looming. If the power is solid and the battery is charged up, move on to more intensive troubleshooting processes.

Try taking out your RAM sticks and reinstall them one at a time put one stick in and restart your computer and see if that ram stick is okay. Then take that ram stick out with the computer off of course. Put in another ram stick start the computer. Make sure it's all right. Then proceed to test every last one of them the same way. If you reach one of the RAM sticks that beep beep beep beep beep that means it's a bad ram stick that's the one that needs to be replaced. Sometimes you'll get hit by lightning and all of them will have to be replaced

That beep is an error code letting you know that the POST (Power On Self Test) failed. It is letting you know that there is a hardware problem that is preventing the laptop from being able to boot up.
The most common cause beep errors like that is memory. If one of the memory chips as gone bad, come lose, etc., that will cause the beeping. try reseating the memory in the laptop.
If that fails, you will need to get a pro to look at it.
