I have been Facebook Jailed?
This morning I was on Facebook as I often am overnight when it is too dark to read. I posted to a comment on the a news feed and evidently, the person did not like what I wrote. "[Person s name] like Trump you take a comment out of context to try and make yourself look good. They whom? The white males born in the USA who commit mass shootings? Burn churches?" The post was to a news posting regarding the FBI thwarting a Syrian plan to bomb a church in Philadelphia. The comment to which I was referring was the person saying, "Some people did something" taking Ilhan Omar s quote out of context. When I finally found a place to contact Facebook I sent this," For reasons I do not understand, I have been blocked from Facebook. I posted the following comment on the Fox News feed, "Brenda Ones Katz like Trump, you take a comment out of context to try and make yourself look good. They whom? The white males born in the USA who commit mass shootings? Burn churches?"
In retrospect, I was a little harsh with the first sentence and I do not normally speak that way. I hid behind the relaxed anomity of Facebook. I do not normally speak that way, on line or in person. I do not feel as though my words violated Facebook rules and guidelines and that the person I was addressing did not like what I had to say and retaliated by blocking me. I have been an active member of Facebook for about ten years without any problems, either with what I post or with Facebook policies." I also tried sending it via the block message. Evidently I am still blocked. Is there a way I can break free? Facebook is about alli do on-line. Well, I actuality use the app on both my phone and laptop/tablet.
On the plus side, I realize that I spend too much time on Facebook. When I feed my six-month-old, I will have to find something else, or read even more if the lighting is good. (I might go to the dollar store and finally get a headlamp to read at night). I might even finally download Hoopla and the Ohio Digital Public Library so I can read at night. I won t have an excuse to ignore some of the clutter spots in my house...
Thank you for reading my babble and any help you might give.
2 AnswersMental Health2 years agoDeleting Instagram comment?
I accidentally posted something on my sister-in-law's page and I would rather it not stay. She does not know I am on Instagram and I do not think she would guess me by my name, but perhaps by the comment. (We are not friends or even civil.) I looked on Google and past Answers and found nothing effective. I have an Android and I looked for he rascal, I tried talking and holding and I even tried swiping it left.
Thank you.
1 AnswerOther - Internet2 years agoFacebook Mobile only showing from one friend.?
While on Facebook, in the last 10-15 minutes, a text Facebook notification popped up. I clicked on it and now, I am only seeing pozys from her. I fid try and go back, but got the Facebok version of "This page cannot be displayed". I tried again and got a notification that all conversations will only be seen through Messenger. I picked up my old phone, and was able to use the moble Facebook. This is mildly frustrating as I use the phone on which Imhaving problems as my cell/phone and get on-line when Im out and at home. (I use our home Internet with the old cell and my tablet). Is there a way I can go back to the old Facebook Mobile?
2 AnswersFacebook3 years agoThawed frozen vegetables?
On Tuesday I went to the grocery store and bought two bags of frozen vegetables (green beans and peas) and a two bottles of wine. As it was well below freezing that day and would be overnight, I left the vegetables in the trunk do i could temporarily have the freezer space to chill the wine for dinner. Unfortunately, I have forgotten about them and it has been in the 40s and 50s. I know the texture will be compromised, as I have put frozen vegetables in the fridge in the past either accidentally or deliberately to thaw. However, after three days and extreme temperature changes, are they still edible?
8 AnswersOther - Food & Drink3 years agoWhat IS Israel's capital?
Please excuse my ignorance and confusion on this. Before Trump (of whom Im not a fan) declared Jerusalem Israel's capital, I would have said it was if asked.
Also, what business is it of the US (regardless of whom is in the White House) to declare the capital of another country? Should that not be up to the country and its citizens? It seems to me that by doing this Trump is going to open up a large can of angry snakes and undo whatever positive relationships the US had with Israel and the other countries in that region. Scary.
11 AnswersIsrael3 years agoCharging a Nextbook tablet/laptop?
I have a Nextbook that is about three years old. It no longer charges with the original cord. My husband has tried other cords with the headphone jack style and our universal chargers. Is it hopeless? I hope not with what I have on it, including photos. What can I do? Thank you.
5 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks4 years agoHow do I change from Answers mobile to desktop?
I switched to mobile to view a photo, thinking I could change it back. Tere used to be an option to change it on the left side menu, bit I no longer see it. A couple of times, I was able to do it by searching "answers desktop version" or something similar. I prefer the desktop version on my tablet's as I think it looks nicer. (I got it back on my one tablet and I'm definitely not changing it again. ) Mobile seems to work better for my phone.
Thank you.

I got an identical shirt a couple of years ago from my sister-in-law. It was too small for her and she was purging her closet of her hundreds of items of clothing. (She goes to the mall more than I go to the grocery and doesnt wear her clothes much. She's also gained weight and her solution is to just go shopping.)I also got a hot pink shirt of a similar style that came from Maurice's. I used to wear them with just leggings, by I realized they seem to work with my A-line skirts. I get compliments on them and ironically, my husband likes me in them.
I often don't care if something is "old" if I like it. (I'm a happy Goodwill shopper.) I'm just curious if there is a name to the style and the age.
3 AnswersFashion & Accessories5 years agoFacebook: How do I filter who sees my posts?
Last Saturday, I posted a comment to a news feed to which I subscribe. My sister saw it and criticized me about it. I did not need that. My life is miserable enough without my sister, at 41, still being my big sister. (I m a couple weeks shy of 39.) Anyway, I looked, under the who can see my posts and I couldn t see how to filter it. I was hurt, given what I posted and she criticized me instead of giving me support. I shouldn t have been surprised, as that s the way she is. Anyway, I m digressing. I just thought if she can t be supportive...
Thanks.
2 AnswersFacebook5 years agoHow do I find my email and password used for Yahoo!?
I have them saved in my phone and laptop. However, my tablet is almost dead and today I'm borrowing my daughter's laptop and I might want to get on Yahoo. The email is a random one I made up just to sign up. I'm going out for coffee today instead if coming home after I take my kids to school as we don't have Internet at home other than my husband's and my phones. I need to fill out a volunteer/job application and it will be easier on a "real" computer with a "real" keyboard. (My tablet is a Nextbook and the keyboard doesn't seem to work right. Its as though the key is set to the mouse commands with the keys. So I have an overpriced, oversized tablet.)
Anyway, thank you.
