My baby just got her sixth tooth in. She had a lot of pain with this tooth but it finally pushed through her gums today.

When I looked at it, I noticed a dark spot on her gym right behind the tooth. It almost looks like a scab or something. She won't let me get a good look at it, but I know it's not food.

It didn't happen with any of her other teeth. Just curious, has anyone else seen this or know what it is?

My husband had to get sprayed to be certified to use it at his job. It s been over 24 hours. His vision is still not completely normal, but I heard it takes longer for the eyes to recover if you re diabetic.

My real concern is he s done nothing but sleep and vomit since. Should I be concerned, or is this a normal part of recovery?

I asked my ten-year-old to put my ice cream cake in the freezer. He put it in the refrigerator instead. It was about an hour and a half before I discovered his mistake and moved it to the freezer. Will the cake be okay? It didn t look melty or soft.

I made some beet chips yesterday, and they were delicious. The problem is, although they were crisp and crunchy when they came out of the oven, they very quickly became soggy as they cooled. I ve has this problem with every vegetable chip I ve made.

Is there a way to make them stay crisp longer so I can keep them around a while instead of gobbling them down as soon as they re done?

I was just curious, does anyone here who uses Alexa ever had anything weird added to your shopping list? We had a group of people at our house all carrying on conversations with each other and suddenly, our of nowhere, Alexa said, "diagnosis ahead mouth lighters added to your shopping list." What s the weirdest thing Alexa ever put on your shopping list?

Some kittens got trapped in the crawlspace under our house. I heard them crying last night and the night before, but thought it was coming from outside. We opened the door to the crawlspace this afternoon and left it open so their mother could get them. I came home this evening and they were still there in the same places, hadn't been moved. I wrapped them in a hand towel and brought them into the backyard. The mother, a feral cat that hangs around sees them, but couldn't seem to care less. I finally put them back in the towel, put the towel in a box on its side, and put canned food out to encourage the mother cat to come back. She's sitting in the front yard now as though she doesn't have a care in the world. She hasn't touched the babies, but she also hasn't touched the food, which is unusual for her.

I know they're hers. I knew she had recently had kittens, but I didn't know she had moved them under the house while our plumbing was being worked on. They are very small, their eyes are open and their fur is fluffy, but they can't walk yet, only crawl.

We can't take them in. We are away from the house several hours a day, and we just adopted a 12 week old kitten last week.

I would take them to the humane society, but they won't be open until Monday.

Is she likely to take them back? Is there anything else I can do for them? I hate seeing them suffer.

My husband is sick and wound up in the ER yesterday with dehydration (they think he has a viral infection.) He s been released, but is still sick and can t get in to see his doctor until Tuesday. What would be a good drink to keep him hydrated? The problem is he is diabetic, so Gatorade, Powerade, and Pedialyte are poor choices. His illness has elevated his blood sugar as well, so it s something we re having to monitor closely.

We would be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.
