  • Second Use for Cooking Oil 20L Bottles/Drums?

I've been asked by a fish and chip shop in the UK if I can find a second use for plastic 20 litre bottles. These have only had cooking oil in and are safe for foodstuffs. This is to comply with their Green policy to avoid throwing them out. Would be great if they could sell them on for a small amount if anyone knows any types of businesses which may be interested?

    Thanks

  • Skype Headset doesn't work in Sound Desk?

I was trying to make a Wired Communications system for our school theatre so i bought a computer type headset with Mic and earphone separate jacks and plugged it into our Allen and Heath Sound Desk. The headphones worked fine but nothing came from the Mic at all. It works fine in the computer through skype etc. I wanted to do it this way as pro systems, like clear-com etc, are around 2 or 3 thousand and these headsets were only a couple of pounds each. I'd really like to get this to work as we have no way of contacting our stage during a show like most theatres would have the ability to do. Is it just impossible to have a headset to work in a sound desk?

    Any advice appreciated...

  • Transfer USB Data through an XLR cable?

Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer the data from a usb camera through an xlr cable. basicallly we have a stage box at our stage and we want a camera at the stage which can be seen from the other end of the multicore (where the PC is) so we can see what the lighting looks like without having to walk down to the stage every time.

    any ideas appreciated?
