I found a tiny white shiny pearl in a can of oysters. I bought the can of oysters from a local supermarket. It's so tiny and it's about the size of a round nerd candy. Its maybe 3 milimeters wide. Is it even worth anything??? What should I do?

I have a Nissan Maxima 1999 GLE

A few months ago, my cv boot on the drivers side was ripped so i replaced the entire axle. Apparently the grease was coming out and it made a mess. I purchased a new one and got it replaced with warranty.

Just today, I went to check my brakes and my CV boot the one is just replaced 2 months ago was ripped again.

I asked the mechanic to see if there were any metal things that could scrape it or any structural damage that could cause it to rip.... Nothing.

I am worried that it will rip again.

My questions are the following:

1. Does this happen ever to anyone? One mechanic told me that maybe the cv boot was faulty.

2. I drive normally...could it have to do with turning???

3. Should I sell my vehicle?

4. Take it to the dealer?

5. I need a very very very experienced mechanic to give me good answers on this. I hate to keep on replacing parts that I just fixed. PLEASE HELP!!!

What should I do?

I adopted a cat from the shelter a week and a half ago. I took it to the vet on Wednesday because it was sneezing. Now, the sneezing has gone done, but there is coughing. It seems like as if he's choking on something but there sounds like as if he's got phlegm. The doctor said that this was a regular cold and so she prescribed antibiotics. Now, is this normal for a cat to get a worse cough? Are animals such that their disease gets worse a bit after antibiotics then they heal afterwards? Do I need to go to the vet again? Note: She got 14 medicine pills. 2 per day. By tonight, she'll have finished 6 pills. Is this medicine working or should I wait until she finishes the whole prescription? I want qualified pet owners or veterinarians to answer this. No wishy washy answers please. Thanks!

I just adopted a gray cat about 7 months old. It's a nice kitty. Lately, it's been "sick" and I got her some medicine. Today I was trying to hold it's back leg and it tried to bite me. Then I tried to pet her and she tried to bite me. I stood up, and said loudly, "NO!" like 4 times and ignored her for 20 minutes.

Is there a reason for her to do this? Do cats hate people touching their back legs? I saw my friend grabbing her hind legs yesterday to play with it and she was OKAY. But she tried to bite me when I tried to pet her on her head. Is it because of the medicine? Is it because she's tired. I do admit that I like to pet my cat when she is sleeping waking her up. Is she cranky? Have I done something wrong? I usually cuddle her, kiss her and put my face into her coat and play with her? Is this playing spoiling her? Is my discipline wrong? What signs should I be looking for if she "might be angry"?

I own a 1999 Nissan Maxima. Right now, I have a stiff steering wheel. When I try to "force" it to turn it screeches. I don't know what's going on. Sometimes, its fine.

Also, I started smelling this burnt rubber smell from my tire and I noticed that my left back wheel which I believe that my brake pad is engaged so it just burns away when I drive.

Can anyone help me on this problem. This steering wheel problem is freaking me out because sometimes I'm on the road and it doesn't work properly.

Also, if I had to repair any parts, what would the estimate costs be around? Thanks!

I am thinking of buying a Nissan Maxima 1999 fully loaded and very good condition for about 3500. I think it's more of a "favor" like deal. I am wondering does this model have ABS? Is it a gas guzzler? Does it break down easily? Between 1-10 how do you rate the car?

I live in a basement. My bed is next to the window. A few years ago, the tennants before me said that they had the window replaced because too many bugs would come in. Now, I think there are still cracks between the wall and the window and crickets just appear. At least 5 since yesterday. Also I tend to notice crickets fall off from one part of my ceiling. My basement ceiling has 2 places for screw in light bulbs and there are holes in the metal part so that screws can mount it to the ceiling. Are they coming from the "holes"? then Do they live in the void between upstairs floorboards and my ceiling? Please help.
