Im using the most recent version of WMP and trying to rip recent cds.

The error message I get is 'One or more tracks could not be ripped at this time' with an option to use web help. When I click it, it goes on about codecs which I know nothing about. I'm not totally dumb when it comes to computers but this is frustrating me!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I have pre-ordered the hardened edition from my local Game store which as I am guessing you know opens tonight at midnight. However I am unable to pick it up until tomorrow morning. My brother who ordered his off a website has had his delivered this afternoon and has lent it me as he wont be using it until later on tonight. My question is, will my hardened edition game still work fine with all the maps still being free? Its my first hardened edition so im not sure how it works ie does it read it off the disc, or do i get a code to redeem?

I want to buy a set of Turtle Beaches but im not sure at all of what to look for spec wise.

* Do they have any that are wireless?

* Are they a pain to link up?

* How are they powered?

my cat wont take a tablet at all. Ive tried to get him to eat it in many different ways - put it in his food or in a treat but he picks it out (clever cat!) and leaves it to one side.

Can i crush it into a powder and stick it on his food and it still be effective?

does anyone know where I can study GCSE or equivalent in science as an adult? ive looked on several websites and can only find one at my local college charging around £600 (yes you read that right) which needless to say is an extremely last final resort. ive tried looking on learn direct website but cant seem to get anywhere. if anyone could provide a link for me i would be extremely grateful

I have pink suede shoes and as Ive worn jeans and black pants with them a lot and the ever so helpful british weather has helped said trousers dye my shoes. Is there any cleaning solution thats good out there that anyone can recommend?

Well actually its my husband.

He's shown an interest in cameras and wanting to take pictures of wildlife and flowers and the like. we dont currently own a camera as we both have camera phones.

Has anyone got any advice on a beginners camera ie what we should look for and what we should know? we are looking to spend a MAXIMUM of £200 on a camera, so it really is a beginners camera

I have an Xbox with Xbox live account, I was wondering if the Sky Player needed an account that was registered at the same address or can I use someone elses Sky account and password to get it on my Xbox?

I need help with my iTunes! Im using the 10.1.1 version and I cant get new songs on my iPhone. I used to be able to click and drag them into a playlist from a file in my laptop, but now I cant. It just has the black circle with a line through it whenever i try. Im not doing anything different than before so I dont understand why it isnt working. I also cant delete or edit playlists using iTunes on my laptop but I can on my iPhone. However if I do delete or edit them on my iPhone, when i plug it into iTunes it just puts them back to how it was. My memory is far from full.

I have always been a windows media player user so my knowledge on iTunes isnt great!

I have 2 HDMI Cables, an optical audio cable and two male ended black cables.

Can anyone tell me how to hook up the TV to surround sound and also my xbox360?

I can get surround sound using the DVD player and the sound works fine through the TV with the xbox and the tv itself, it just doesnt use surround sound

hi, i am currently studying for a BA Hons Degree and ive quoted from a booklet which is a document from my local authority discussing a ten year plan. there is no author apart from the local council logo and two men who have written a forward. there is no publishing date publisher or author on the cover, inside cover, back page or back cover. how do i reference this both in text, and in my bibliography at the end in Harvard Referencing style?

My cat is just over one year old and he's starting to display strange behaviour. Things like running around the house and acting all hyper. He is a happy cat, he gets lots of cuddles when he wants them and is fed enough. But then today he went outside after seeing another cat (not sure if it was male or female) and ran after it. The other cat ran off out the gate and my cat just sat at the hole in the gate he made and made all his fur (even on his tail) go all puffed up and sat there yowling (i actually thought he had been hurt he was that loud lol)

the only thing I can think of is maybe he was either trying to mate if it was female, or warning them off?

He has been neutered if that helps?

hi, does anyone know where I can watch the MTV Episodes of Scarred? I tried MTV's website, but due to copyright restrictions or something I cant watch them because I dont live in the US. Hi recently I had to take two weeks off unpaid from my work (not work or illness related) and when I came back, I found that someone had been made deputy manager which is the position I showed I was interested in about six months back. I was given an interview as well as a few other people too, and didnt get the job (no-one did as the owner of the workplace decided to be it themselves and the person who now has the job did not go for an interview). No interviews were taken place in this most recent deputy manager appointment, and neither was I informed of any position being available. I was able to be in contact for the two weeks and this was confirmed as i was phoned three times by my employer. Do i have a leg to stand on if i make a complaint? i want to know if i was even considered and why if i was considered did i not get the job so i will be asking this anyway. i know this might seem complicated but does anyone know anything?

ive recently qualified at level 4 in my workplace and the minimum needed is level 3. my boss asked me to do this qualification and i have almost finished level 5 now (i was also asked to do this level too) is there anywhere i can look up how much i should be on an hour or PA for doing this extra work? i was promised a few things if i did the course and none of them have been followed through which is why im looking at this option myself.

tomorrow im trading wheelman cos its utter cr@p. because ive only had it for 5 days i can trade it back in at my local gamestore for the price i purchased it for (£39.99). So id like some ideas on games, as i get to the store and have no idea. im not into COD games, but i do like the james bond QOS game. I dont mind racing games but i already have one and i hardly play that so i dont really want another. ive already had GTA IV and Saints Row 2 tho i was thinking of getting it again if its cheap enough. I looked at the demo for viva pinata and it really doesnt not appeal to me!had fifa09, found it a little repetitive and not many of my friends had it either. i like the dynasty warriors games and am waiting for DW6 Empires to come out in july. Street Fighter IV looks ok but is there anything to do on the game apart from fight? I have Xbox live if that makes any decisions easier!

Hey, im a frequent xbox live user, so i like to think that im not a total idiot and doing something stupidly wrong, but here goes.

Everytime I turn my xbox on, it says im disconnected, and until i test the connection by signing out of xbox, and then it says im up and running after testing it. is there anyway i can sort it so i dont have to do this everytime i turn it on? its already set to auto sign in but doesnt do it its def not the connection cos a) its wired and b) its working fine on the laptop its been a couple of weeks now so i dont think its waiting for an update or anything
