  • Metoprolol and Adderall?

My cardiologist perscribed me 25mg of metoprolol, I take half in the mornings. I take it for heart palpitations that seems to be POTS. He knows I was perscribed adderall for my ADD but didn't say anything. Does anyone take these two medications together? What are your side effects? Does it make you worse or not because of the heart medicine

  • Can I have lung damage from a month of smoking? ?

I'm asthmatic, smoked joints for two weeks, quit. 1 week later I bought a vape, vaped for two weeks and quit. It makes my asthma act up and was giving me shortness of breath and tight chest. I feel better now that I quit, could I have caused lung damage?

  • Heart palpitations and out of breath? ?

I had asthma when I was younger and frequently used an inhaler. Half way through high school, I played sports and grew out of it. I didn't need an inhaler again until 10 years later (now). I was never a smoker, never did drugs, nothing.

I've been experiencing with edibles for my joint pain and recently got into smoking. I started smoking joints (paper) and my asthma came back. I was smoking for about 3 weeks. I quit. I switched to edibles/tinctures again and I felt like it didn't help my pain as much, just put me in a body high. I than switched to vaping, the first few days were fine. I started noticing I was very congested in my nose, my acid reflux was acting up, chest congestion, etc. so I quit 2 days ago. Well around the same day I quit I started having really bad heart palpitations and chest pressure, I was at a 95 heart rate sitting down.

Went to the ER twice, they did an EKG and said everything was fine. Did an ultrasound, didn't see any fluid or inflammation. I'm out of shape, 5ft 135 pounds. But I'm at the point where now when I talk I feel out of breath , walking up the stairs my heart races. Sitting down feels worse than standing up.

What could this be if my EKG came back fine???

  • Drug induced psychosis? ?

I'm perscribed 10mg adderall XI twice a day, I usually only take it once. Yesterday I took 2, than four hours later I took a THC tincture dose. I was having really bad paranoia hallucinations and what felt like pain all over my body. Today I feel very separated from myself, exhausted. My body is present but my mind keeps wandering. I'm scared I did something to myself

Does this sound like drug induced psychosis

  • Asthma complications after one month of smoking? ?

When I was younger I had asthma, I used a nebulizer and an inhaler. Than I "grew out of it". I've never been a smoker, ever. Two months ago i started smoking pot, I smoked for about a month total. I have stopped smoking but my asthma has come back and im nervous. I have chest pressure when I inhale, when I take the inhaler I'm gagging, coughing with phlegm, it actually feels like the inhaler makes it worse. Not sure what to do at this point

  • Can you get a blood clot only after 2 days of birth control? ?

I was put on sprtintec and I took it for two days, now I'm having foot pain and throbbing. Is it possible to have a blood clot so fast or could this just be regular muscle pain? (Have fibromyalgia/MS )

  • Does this sound like a neurological condition? MS? Fibromyalgia? ?

For the past couple months I've been having brain fog, bad neck pain, back pain, fatigue if I don't take my adderall, bladder issues. I had eye pain that I thought was optic neuritis, eye doctor said no inflammation. Had an MRI done of my brain with NO CONTRAST, came back ok. Had blood work done, all my inflammatory levels were normal. I saw a rhematolgist who crossed out RA, lupus, etc. Now im going to neurology in a few months. My cousin's mom has MS but other than that I don't know anyone else in my family who has it. Does this sound like MS? What about Fibromyalgia? I know no one on here is a doctor but I just want some opinions on what it could be.

  • Large cash withdrawal, CTS Report and maybe SAR?

I have been on unemployment since March. I was due to look for a job when the virus came and was unable to start working.

I have been keeping my unemployment money in the bank where it direct deposits weekly. But today I decided to transfer 2,000$ into a savings account for a Secure Credit Card to build my credit. I had said that I wanted to keep around 1,000$ in my checking account and take the rest out cash (8,000$). So the teller did a Withdrawal for 10,000$ and deposited 2,000$ of that money into the new savings account for the card.

When I asked to take out the 8,000$ cash--the office guy had to keep going back and fourth leaving the room with the teller to have him ask me questions. He asked what I did for work, I said I was self employed, even though I am unemployed, because I was embarrassed. I just said I'm a self employed student and gave them the name of my college.

So he said they just had to ask questions to file some paperwork. So I'm guessing they filed a CTS report.

    My 2 questions are :

    1. Should I be worried if they filed a CTS/SAR report? Even though all my money is legally coming from unemployment.

    2. Will this affect my unemployment since I said I am "self employed" on the paperwork, even though I am not. I am unemployed.

  • Did I sprain a muscle or fracture my rib? ?

Have a pain in my left rib along with back pain. I can breathe fine. Deep breaths in with minimal pain. But bending over hurts and standing up straight causes some strain. I don't see any bruising on my skin . Hurts when I sit down though along with my back

  • I CHOKED ON A TWIZZLER LAST NIGHT, COULD IT BE STUCK IN MY CHEST?

Last night around 9:00pm, I inhaled a twizzler bite and it went straight into my air pipe. I couldn't breathe at all, It was the first time in my life I have actually choked and thought I wasn't going to make it. I couldn't get enough air to force it out so I ended up just forcing it down and chasing it with water just so I can get some air. After a few minutes of swallowing water, I got it past my throat. It felt like something was than stuck in my chest so I ended up just keep vomiting over and over again. Lost all my food from puking and after about an hour, it felt half better but still some pressure was in there.

I could still swallow but it was just slower with a lot of acid reflux and burping, stomaching gurgling, gas etc. I ended up going to the ER and they though I developed GERD from it. They gave me some meds to help with the reflux. When I swallow it feels like any liquid or saliva is going around something. But not sure if that could just be the reflex.

Is there a chance the candy could be lodged in my esophagus or could it really just be GERD from what happened? Will it dissolve?

Photo of candy below for comparison of size. if photo doesnt show...its about as tall as a dice height wise and a couple CM thickness.

  • Will the census affect my college and healthcare? ?

I moved in June to a different state but haven't changed my address. I keep my address as my moms house, next state over. I received a census form on my doorstep to fill out and it said if I didn't fill it out I would be fined.

I filled it out and it asked me where I was living in April, I said my moms house and provided the information. I kept my address there due to my health care and financial aid for college. Since I answered the form that was left on my door at my new house--will it ruin my financial aid and health care?

  • Knowledge bump on my dogs head? ?

I have a 3 year old Rottweiler x Doberman mix. She's healthy and there seems to be no issues. She eats her bones, eats her food, etc. she has a bump on her head towards the back, it's hard like bone. She doesn't touch it or cry or anything like that. But at times it's more prominent and larger, than goes back down. Is this normal?? I'm hoping it's not something serious. Any advice helps and please don't just say " go to the vet"
