I have been a website developer since 1997. In my spare time I enjoy reading, visiting amusement parks, and traveling throughout the United States.

  • Are you ready to hear depressed conservatives tomorrow screaming about how debates don't mean anything?

Or then will it be that two out of three is all that matters?

  • What are some "smart" TV shows?

By smart I mean those that are not silly comedy or mindless comedy (which I also like) but those that are a bit more cerebral. A bit more complicated in their humor.

I can only think of a few from today and yesteryear. Can you suggest any others or tell me why some of mine don't belong on the list? Here are mine:

    Burns and Allen

    Cheers

    Curb Your Enthusiasm

    Frasier

    The Golden Girls

    Seinfeld

    Sex and the City

    Thanks!

  • Is Obama yesterday's news?

    Headlines, July 23, 2009:

The Dow Jones industrial average today rose another 188 points to a higher level than before the crash during the Bush Administration! Economic experts said that reaching the 9,000 level today should once more convince businesses that the economy is slowly returning to normalcy.

Reuters reported today that U.S. existing home sales rose for the third month in a row in June, a signal that the housing industry is slowly healing. Lawrence Yun, the National Association of Realtors' chief economist told a press conference, "The housing market is healing after four years of recession"!

The University of Michigan's consumer confidence index rose again for the fourth month in a row in June of 2009 after crashing in the final months of the Bush Administration. The index shows that consumers are on average 20% more confident now than then.

  • Why don't legal video streaming TV sites allow viewers from outside their country?

I feel sorry for all of these people from around the world who can't watch U.S. or Canadian shows at legal sites!

Does anyone know for sure why this is so?

I have been guessing that they haven't figured out a way to run commercials for other countries yet so they just block everyone outside the U.S. and Canada out.

But does anyone know for sure?

  • Has anyone else noticed how much more violent the conservative attacks are while Rush Limbaugh is on the Air?

It's obvious that the mind-numbed robots are still listening!

    Limbaugh/Palin in 2012!

    Yeah ... that's the ticket!

  • Is it still "America ... Love It Or Leave It"?

Why is it that when I used to complain about stuff like the Iraq war, locking up people and giving them no rights, and doing everything for the rich that I was told "if you don't love America ... leave it" by the right-wingers? More or less, they were saying that if you didn't accept everything that Bush was doing, you should leave!

Does that still apply now that the liberals are in charge? Pack your bags guys!
