Her staff said my child would need another physical for this year and the dr cannot give us the one from Dec 2017! This was our only visit with this dr since her other pediatrician (from birth)moved too far away. My daughter always has her physicals after her bday which is end of November. I asked the school if the Dec physical would be ok and they said yes. I am no doubt really angry at this dr whom I asked to speak with withwas told by her staff that she is booked with patiemts all day. I then said that we will be switching doctors and need copies of medical records.They still say they will only be able to provide the vaccinations and the drs notes and that it will be $25. I know by law I have a right to these. What can I do? Thanks for any help you can offer.

This lady hit me earlier this week. We both contacted her insurance to report it.There is a police report too. I gave my statement a couple days ago, but this lady will not return her insurance companies calls to give her side. In the meantime, I am paying for a rental out of my own pocket and am being told by her insurance company that they can't do anything with the claim until they hear from her.

Does anyone know how long this lady's insurance company will give her to respond? We live in Illinois.

Hi. I live in an apartment complex with 5 other units. I pay close to $1000 a month, and my unit is the only one without 2 air conditioners. The one I have which is in the livingroom is from the 80's and only cools about 11 degrees. There is a hole with a cover on it in the main bedroom that is for an AC unit, but there isn't one there. While outside, I looked up at the building and saw each unit had an AC unit in the window, except mine. This would be the bedroom unit. I have yet to look at the other side of the building which will show the units in the livingroom.

I asked my landlord for another AC for the bedroom. He responded that it's not in the lease for them to provide 2 AC units, and if I want a 2nd one I can buy it myself and take it with me when I leave. No where in the lease does it state that the tenant would be responsible for buying their own air conditioning unit.

I am furious. I am about to knock on all my neighbors doors and ask them if they got 2 ac units when they moved in or if they had to purchase one themselves. My landlord did say he would have someone look at the one I have and maybe it needs some. freeon.

What can be done? I am trying to stay in good graces with my landlord, but this is really unfair, and no doubt if he were in my shoes he would feel the same way.

I left the father of my child a few years ago. He is verbally and pyschologically abusive and has lots of rage. He degraded me in front of our child on almost a daily basis.He never hit me, but destroyed walls and doors in our home by punching or kicking holes in them when he got angry. These things he also did in front of our small child. He is controlling, manipulative and a pathological liar. After leaving him, he begged and begged for a second chance-which I gave as far as he got help for his anger. During a family vacation while trying to make things work, I found out he was dating other women. When I asked him what was going on, he gave me the silent treatment. He acted as though he couldn't hear me. This went on for a good half hour, and when I absolutely could not take it anymore, I whacked him in the back of the head and asked, "What is wrong with you!!??" Unfortunately, this happened in front of our child. This was a couple years ago, and he has brought it up a few times. Now, I have hired a lawyer to get an order of protection, because he was screaming obscenities outside my window in front of our child, my neighbors, the whole world. I am being harrassed by him that he will take me back to court for a reduction in child support. He has gone against our court order in almost every way that cannot be traced. His anger the day he was screaming outside my window scared me. I think he kicked my car in between screaming because I heard a loud noise. I have asked him to meet me at the police station when "exchanging" our child, but he refuses. I live in the state of "alert", and I've had to call the police twice before on him to intervene. My question is, when we go to court, I know he will bring up the time I hit him in the back of the head. I don't know if I should tell my attorney about this, or just hope it doesn't get mentioned by my ex when we do go to court.

One more thing, the last night I lived with him, I got a black eye because of his viciousness. He did not intentionally give me the black eye, but as a result of his rage, I got struck with a door he barged through to get to me. He rammed in the door so hard it came off the hinges.

I don't know what to do. Please help.

My soulmate is in Iraq. We were high school sweethearts and re met again after 18 years. It has been like a dream come true. Except for a few misunderstandings that we have been able to get past-all due to trying to communicate through emails and IMs. All our conversations are through IM and emails and the occassional phone call. Well, just the other day something got misconstrued in an email again. I took something I asked of him the wrong way, and I got careless and let my feelings of distraught out in an email. Without reading it over first, I sent it out. His response to it was, no doubt, not happy. He came back with, "You should trust my love for you. You don't. I don't see how we can go on now." He said I should already know the answers to things about us without having to ask them, because of the bond we share and that I should trust our love completely. I know he means this because he believes we are soul mates also. Then he was breaking it off....in an email. (he couldn't call or IM because of the horrible connections out there) I re-read this email I sent out. It sounds like I was mad and accusatory. I tried to explain to him that I didn't mean for him to take it this way, but he still said he needs time and space to think things over.

This hurts like nothing I have ever felt. My heart is more than broken. I miss him terribly and I want contact with him. It's only been a few days, but it's been very hard. Someone told me to continue sending him emails and stay fresh in his mind without pressuring him for answers about us. I'm not sure this would be a good idea to contact him at all right now. He said he needed space. Please someone give me some advice. I knows he truly loves me, but I just don't understand how he could want this. He did say it's wasn't easy for him, but it is necessary. What do I do? Can someone tell me what they think?

I've been an at home Mom for 6 years, and I need to find work, but I'm pretty computer illiterate. I've been falling asleep trying to teach myself with a book...

Help!!!

I quit smoking over 3 months ago. I go to sleep between 11and midnight every night, and wake between 7 and 8. My son usually wakes me, and it is sooo hard to get up. My body feels so tired. When I was a smoker, I would go to bed around 11, wake between 5am-6am, have my cigarette and coffee, get all my chores done around the house, watch the weather, and sometimes have my son's breakfast made before he woke at 7-7:30.

I don't understand what is going on. This new sleep pattern is greatly affecting our day. Everything is getting pushed back.

I forgot to mention that it's only the mornings that are hard. After I'm up and moving for a while, the body fatigue goes away, I'm more alert, and don't feel like I need to lay down or nap. Nighttime is when I have the most energy.

Are there any ex-smokers who have gone through this, and can share some insight?

I just bought a wig and it came folded up in a box. I took it out and thought it looked weird. I tried it on and it definatley looked weird! How can I make it look normal. IT LOOKS LIKE A WIG!! It's got weird lumps and bumps and doesn't look like what I ordered. It's a nice wig..cost close to $200, synthetic. Someone please tell me how to relax some of this weird poofiness, and get rid of unwanted bumps. thanks.

I just bought a new synthetic wig. I take it out of the box and put it on and it's all crazy! The bangs won't lay down, there are bumps and lumps and waves and weird, ugly curls. It's supposed to be a straight wig, and it looks NOTHING like the picture. How can I tame it? I need to get rid of off this weirdness. Help!!!!

Went to doctor. I had tests ran, because I have been falling asleep in the most unsual places while I'm on my period. It's very heavy, and lasts 7 days. My dr prescribed iron pills which I will start tomorrow (along with vitamin C). I remember taking iron pills while I was pregnant, and am afraid I'll feel the same way again. (that is sick, and constipated). For the latter, I am to take a stool softener every day with my iron pill. Does anyone know how long I have to take these?

Symptoms-excessive runny nose and non stop watery eye. Only right side is effected. Any at home remedy advice? Thanks!

For the past couple days, my right eye has been watering at times, and my right nostril a little runny. Today, it is worse. Sneezing, constant watery right eye, and right nostril running non stop. I'm wondering why it's only my right side. Any advice on what to do? I am not big on taking medicines, so I'd prefer any at home remedy advice. Thanks!

I know it is harmful to use plastic wrap to store hot food, but what about cold or lukewarm foods? I'm concerned about plastics leaving toxins in food.

I am wondering how many others feel extremely tired during their periods? Mine last 7 days, and for the first 3 days, my body feels so tired. I also feel very sleepy and need to lay down or nap. This is not always feasible as I'm an at home Mom with a 4 year old. I'm beginning to worry about what I'm gonna do when I start working again.

Anyone else with this problem?

I'm a female in my early 30's with low testosterone. Main symptom is non-existant sex drive. I've been taking DHEA 25mg for the past two days. I am wondering if anyone has taken it and at what dose? What did you notice and how long did it take?

Or suburbs of Chicago?
