I ve been playing Bass Trombone for about a year now and the only problems I am having is playing low notes and tonguing between low notes is the worst part for me. I have trouble actually getting a sound out of them and when I do I hardly ever get it again. I also struggle tonguing between the low notes I really need help. Can anybody help me get a good low range please and tell me how to tongue them? Thank you

I am 14 years of age and I haven't grown since June. I was tall but everybody seems to have almost caught up to me. I spoke to my biology teacher at school and she said that I am going to shoot up very soon because I have gotten broader. She also told me that big feet doesn't always count in being tall because I haven't. She said that I have big hands though. My dad is 6'3 so I just don't know

I met a few Norwegians a few months ago and the men were HUGE I mean it. Are most Norwegians this tall? They were about 6'4-6'7 I'd say is this normal in Norway? And if so why? Thank you for your help!

I am in year 9 at the moment and I have chosen my GCSE options. I have chosen the subjects that I enjoy and this year is such a stressful year for me. People in school are being more horrible than they ever have been to me, all the teachers are stressing me out always going on about how I need to get qualifications and how important they are which I understand. I am a good lad at school and I am popular for behaving well but I have always got bullied and this year is the worst! I have spoken to a few teachers and they have said that year 9 is an awkward year but year 10 will be loads better. I can't help but see year 10 as a dead end! Year 8 was the best year for me I really miss it, I wish I could just go back to year 8. I am friends with some year 11s at school and they say that year 10 was the best year that they'd ever had. So guys what do you think? Will year 10 be a lot better than year 9?

I'm a 13 year old boy and I have side parted my hair for ages now and my hair is quite long even though it doesn't look that way when it's parted. I've been criticised about them being told it looks greasy because it's a wet look I use wet look gel. Loads of people say that it suits me and my hair is really thick, very dark brown and quite long, is there also any other good hair products to try for the shiny wet look? People have being treating me a bit different ever since I have side parted my hair because I used to have my long like an Emo and my hair still looks that way when it isn't side parted. But I just want to know what your opinion is on side partings? P.S Any good products to try for this style? Thanks for your help

I'm 13 years old and just over 5'7 or I think I might be a bit taller because I haven't measured myself in ages. I've had 2 growth spurts in my life. I've had one in year 6 and I've had one in year 7. I only grew about 2 inches in the first one and 3 inches in the second one. I don't think I've had my major growth spurt yet. Should I see a doctor to check this? What's your bet on me being 6'4? Thank you very much for your help!

I'm not saying all of them are but I've got a foster brother who is 6 years old that we got near the end of March and he is so horrible to me and my family. He's made fun of my dead family members like my Grandma and Granddad and one of my dead dogs Trixie he made fun of her name. He's hit and kicked my mum and kicked my dog and he threatened to beat my dad up. He says I always stick my nose in arguments when I'm trying to help my mum and dad. My mates have seen what he's like and they don't like him at all because for the first few days when he first meets somebody he always puts this charm on to make him look nice but if people be patient like my mates and my mum's friends and my cousins and my auntie's and uncles. They see the REAL side of him and they are NOT happy with him at all. Me and my family should NOT have to put up with this. He still visits his Mum like 3 times a year or so and he hasn't been abused or anything he's just seen fights with his Mum and her boyfriends and he's got a DS and that's all he cares about. He cares about nothing but himself. This is not a 6 year old behaviour is it? When he first came I let him on my Trampoline TV Computer Xbox and gave him a book which used to be mine. I want it back now! To get our own back on him we are just keeping him to get more money in this house because he is so horrible. He used to make fun of my teeth because they were crooked and now I've got braces. We have NO intention of adopting him and the more money we get in this house the sooner we can get rid of him! I know it's sounds horrible but we just can't tolerate the bad behaviour and his social worker is really nice and she's on our side! The other one was horrible whenever I had everything planned out for something she always said it sounded boring and needed more! She sounded like she was on his side but we are NEVER going to see her again thank goodness! Only 3 of my mates know that we are just using him for the money now and I told them ages ago and they've still kept it a secret to this day If he was nicer we wouldn't have used him for the money but because he is so arrogant and obnoxious we have no choice! What do you think of this behaviour from him? He doesn't have Autism or anything like that because we went to get him diagnosed! I have Autism and sometimes some of his behaviour has caused me to have meltdowns several times! His loud shouting and so much more! Like I play the Trombone in a brass band and he always says my concerts are rubbish and boring and he's been really told off for this! Dad says he's a pain in the @ss and the dog thinks he is and mum does and I especially do! He says so many things that aren't a 6 year old such as once he said I act like a teenager and why can't I? And he said the toilet needs bleaching/ And he said to the dog we do like you but you are just annoying so shut up! He's horrible to my dog! He's awful with all his toys he's broke loads of them on purpose! He came from another foster family that weren't particularly nice! Well the mum and dad were but I didn't like the kids! He always pulls the blinds open in his bedroom and he said he hates this house and he said to my mum watch and learn! Do you agree with me this is not a 6 year old talk? He is six but he acts either more like a 2 year old or more like an 18 year old! We want to get rid of him as soon as we get the best available opportunity! My mum and dad have done loads for him and he just does this on us! He always gives me angry glares and now he always shuts up when he sees me like whenever he's messing outside his room I come out of my room and he goes back into it straight away! I give him these glares back and he turns around and shuts up straight away! I don't speak to him anymore because of this behaviour I just blank him and I've been doing this for the past two months. I started doing this after the unacceptable behaviour so I have not caused anything! My mats say I am doing the right thing by blanking him! Do you agree? Thank you very much for your help!

I got my braces fitted yesterday morning and I tried playing my Trombone and it really hurt. I went to the band rehearsal in the evening and tried playing Bass Trombone and it hurt even more. Today I've tried playing scaled and I just couldn't take the pain anymore. I'm in agony here please I really need help? Thank you very much!
