  • Two periods in a month? (Originally asked in W omen's Health)?

Has anyone ever experienced 2 periods in a month? One was normal and began on the 3rd of Jan 11 and ended on the 5th. My period is usually around that short, so I wasn't overly concerned. I had another period on the 27th. It lasted just about a day and a half, and was very clean (no clots etc). Needless to say, that's a bit early. I've had some nausea this month but I usually get that with my period, so no biggie, once again, but I've recently been experiencing some feelings of being light headed and dizziness for the past week or so, and that is not normal for me. I also have been having headaches and light cramping throughout my abdomen, with the lightest cramps being along the sides and the worst in my lower abdomen and in my lower back. I'm sort of embarrassed to admit this but I should. I had unprotected sex with my partner on the 13th and the 14th. I'm not saying I could be pregnant because I'm aware that the symptoms mimic so many other things, so I'm also looking at other scenarios such as hormone fluctuations and such. Has anyone ever experienced any of this? I would not be asking, but I'm still having cramping, nausea, headaches and feeling light-headed intermittently and it's been almost a week since that period, and I never have period symptoms after my period. Any help or insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • To any minorities who have lived in or visited Sydney?

This is really awkward for me, but I'm really curious about this, and because I want to go to Sydney, I'll take a chance and ask. A former friend went to Sydney for grad school. She is half white, black, and Native American. She's told me repeatedly that Sydney is the most racist place that she's ever lived, and that the racism she constantly encountered there was one of the most traumatic experiences of her life. I am half Asian and half Causcasian myself, do you think that I would face problems there for being bi-racial? I have never had any problems with Australians, except for one male, and he was sexist, not racist! Do you think she was making it up or simply exaggerating it? Or, do you think that there really is a racism problem there?

  • Any ideas for a 8 day itinerary to Philadelphia?

Hello everyone! I will be going to Philadelphia soon for 8 days, and then on to Houston for a cousins wedding. I could really use some help in finding the best restaurants and activities to do while I'm there! Thanks a bunch!

  • When is the right time to file a claim for personal injury?

My friends and I were recently hit by a driver running a red light. It's been 4 days, and since then, I've been to the ER twice. The first time after the accident, the second the other night after my doctor ordered a CAT scan, and I had an allergic reaction to the contrast dye. I have been feeling fatigued, my arms hurt, I am nateous, not eating and sleeping well, my lower back hurts, and I can't concentrate as well as I normally do, like I am actually using spell checker now! Do I actually have a claim against the guy who hit us, should we file all together, because my 2 other friends also have whiplash injuries, and do we even have a claim? How do we even get the process started? Please help if you can, I am feeling kinda helpless here...

  • HELP! Who is responsible for our medical bills?

Ok.Here's the deal: the other night,me and my friends were driving home--I was a passanger behind the driver. We were making a left turn, when some idiot ran a red light light and hit us.His huge SUV was barely damaged, but my friends car is totaled. He said he was afraid that he would miss his flight,so that's why he ran the red.Anyway, my friend has car insurance, and so does the other driver. I don't have health insurance right now.The ER doctor said that the other driver is responsible for all our medical bills. Is he right?
