How to fix speakers on my radio?
So, I have this $40 Jenson radio cd player given to me as a gift back on Christmas. It is a nice and cute-looking radio that plays very loud almost at boombox levels, the sound is more than room-filling at maximum volume. It is an AM/FM radio with cd player and aux. No Bluetooth but I can connect a Bluetooth receiver into the aux and make it work that way. As for the speakers, sometimes only one works while the other is silent. When that happens, I have to bump the radio a little with my hand, and usually, that gets the other speaker to work as well. With 2 speakers working, the radio works wonders. With just 1 speaker working, it is not as enjoyable. How do I get a permanent fix to this issue?

I remember growing up, that was like a popular thing. The thing is, I just bought a new car. Or new used car. The radio was working a week ago but now it just wants me to reset. I watched a video on how to reset. The dude speaking in Spanish had the whole deck removed to reset it. If I'm going to remove the deck, then I minus well buy a new one but I don't want people trying to steal my new deck. That's why I want to know if there are still people trying to steal car radios?

my car runs fine like 87% of time time the one problem is when I shift from 2nd to 3rd or 4th to 3rd it starts making a weird moaning sound. it kinda sounds like a woman from the Asia region orgasming. idk man I just hope the bill doesn't come out to be too much because I just replaced the catalytic converter last month. any help is appreciated thank you guys

I bought two saves for my vehicle but none of them happen to work the description on eBay said safe for vehicle to not work there are only meant for the sealed apparently not full. And for some reason the safe did not fit under my seat in my glove box or elbow rest I have a full-size and I tried putting it in all those places did not work

I have a 2012 Corsa. A few days ago the radio stopped working, it worked fine the day before as i went for a drive after changing the headlight bulbs. The display turns on and shows the radio stations fine, the aux works fine and music plays through my phone.
i have disconnected the battery to try a hard reset (30min disconnected), i’ve gotten myself a new Ariel too but nothing works. it randomly turned on twice and even after restarted the car and turning it on and off worked fine but after say 10 min of the car being off it does the same thing. Fuse 3 or 4 i forget in the internal fuse box has been checked and is fine.
Any ideas what to do?

I bought a used car that has UConnect. I've been getting satellite radio so far, but I don't pay any subscription, and all the cars I've owned before would only give me it during SiriusXM's trial periods. I tried Googling it, but all I can find is that "UConnect" is essentially free if you buy it with the car, but there's a thing called "UConnect Access" that's a monthly subscription and will give you things like roadside assistance and turning your car off with your phone. My car is three years old and I bought it from a used car dealer, so I don't see why I'd be getting some SeriusXM trial period. Is the satellite radio subscription free, or am I in some sort of trial period that will end soon?

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion. I am about to install a new Apple CarPlay sterero, and I also think it would be funny to install some custom horns. I need to power the buttons with the cigarette lighter power, but I don’t want to drain the battery when I’m away. How can I change my cigarette lighter power to turn off when the car is off without taking too much power from the battery? (I don’t know anything at all about electric work! The simpler the better. Thank you!)

3 Answers1 month agoHow to wire 2 led strips to a on-off-on switch with separate lead AND ground?
Each strip needs separate lead AND Ground. One way (up) keeps one led strip on constant, middle way turns both off, other way (down) turns the other led strip on, but its wired into speaker wires of a subwoofer to blink with the bass. Is this possible?
The issue I ran into is the led leads of the speaker wire can't touch any constant lead or ground, it messes with the speakers. If this is possible with only 1 switch, what 3 pos switch do I need?
I hope this made sense. I found no way to do this with research. My last resort is a circut board, but I really don't want to do that. Expensive.
