Why are environmentalists so positive about EVs? What gets burned to produce the charging stations energy? Could it be....uh...oil or gas?
And which city's dump heap will accept all those worn out car batteries once they've run out of charging capability, the way ANY battery does?

Is it better on money to drive with less fuel rather than more fuel in a car?
Not with the gas light on but between quarter tank and half tank. Neil deGrasse Tyson said he experimented with this idea and said he saved on money. The reason why, he said, is because the less fuel you have, the lighter your vehicle weighs and thus the less fuel is required to move the car. And I know you shouldn’t drive with the gas light on because it could mess up your fuel pump. Couldn’t find the answer on google. Thanks.

When, if ever, will YOU be persuaded to switch to an electric or even hybred car. For me, it will probably be never - for 3 reasons?
Favourite answer:I bought a hybrid in 2015 and have been quite happy with it. My next car will probably be electric. 99% of my trips are short distances. The only distance driving I do is two annual road trips to visit family. At this point there are a few charging stations between my home and my destinations, including one at a hotel we traditionally stay at at the midpoint of the longer trip. So it should be fine. If not, it's not a big deal to rent a car for the road trips or take a bus or plane.

Will diesel fuel and regular gas powered cars go extinct by 2030? Will electric cars be the new normal?
Favourite answer:Gas vehicles may not be manufactured as much but it will be two hundred years before they finally end up in museums. Keep in mind that cars made a hundred years ago are still running and many of them are driven for fun.

What's going to happen to all the car batteries when they wear out? Landfills? Will they run down & need charging even if you don't drive?
No one is talking about these two issues. I have to charge my cell phone, not because I used it, but because the battery runs down to 0% just from sitting on a shelf. Are we suppose to be recycling plain Duracell C, D, and AAs or throwing them in the trash? What happens to those? Landfill?

When will Hydrogen fuel cell cars running on water become available in commercial Market ?
Favourite answer:Cars cannot run on water. Water can be split into hydrogen and oxygen but that takes a lot of energy. The hydrogen generated can be used to power an automobile. This method has a distinct advantage of traditional hydrogen fuel cells because you only have a small amount of hydrogen on board at any time. But you still need a secondary power supply to create the hydrogen.

Liquid fuels?
Favourite answer:Any water in gasoline is a pollutant (yes, even water can be a pollutant, although it is also a plant food) and shouldn't be there.
