Can I travel by taxi? (Lockdown)?
Hi everyone, so where I live it is a small town it has a Tesco and a few other shops but not many so a lot has gone either way I never shop here I always travel 33 miles to shop by taxi. (I am 21) I am wondering if I was to get a taxi from mine to the shop (Cambridgeshire area) would the police stop taxis? Would I need a certificate to show I am going shopping or proof or something?. I messaged my taxi he said he can pick me up from the location but didn’t say if there would be any problems.

What will it be like commuting in Manchester during Peak hours? City centre to Ashton-Under-Lyne?
I have just got offered an interview for a job in Ashton-Under-Lyne, will be living close to the city center.
Does anyone know what the typical commute of 8.3 miles to work will be like? My working hours are 9-6 Monday to Friday. I have just heard that Manchester city centre can be tricky.
If anyone knows a good estimate or range of how long it takes or if you live in Manchester yourself please let me know, thanks!

Has there been an Earthquake in Manchester?
Favourite answer:Was it in a part of Manchester where there were coal mines? I experienced an earth tremor, and the building I was in was evacuated, when I was working in Ashton-under-Lyne and old mine workings collapsed.
