True or False: Catalonia is NOT Spain!!!!?
Favourite answer:Many Catalonians would agree with that, but it's still a part of Spain. That would be like saying "Southern France isn't really France".

Where is Barcelona?
Favourite answer:It's in the north east part of Spain, in an area called Catalonia. There is a Catalonian language, and a large number of people who would like to split off and form their own country. It's an amazing place to visit. Loads of museums, cook architecture, and great food. I was supposed to go back this past spring, but Covid screwed me over.

Advice on relocating from England to Spain?
My partner and I want to move permanently to Spain. This is not something we have decided overnight. We do not speak Spanish yet but we will learn. We would like to get advice on how to find work for English people when we go out there. Googling for jobs is not giving us very good information. Our jobs in the UK are prison officers. My current idea for work in Spain is to become a carer for the elderly. We’d really appreciate any advice people can give for relocations, renting a home and finding work.
Thank you.

Travelling back from spain?
My friend has just come back from spain and due to the new restrictions he has to isolate for 14 days. He has now been back for 4 days, took a covid test yesterday and it has come back negative today. Does this mean he still has to complete the rest of the isolation days? Thank you.

How much Spanish should I learn?
I’m retiring soon and moving to southern Spain from the US. Either Malaga or Marbella or somewhere else along the Mediterranean coast. I know just a little
Spanish. Can I just learn more as I go along after I get there.
This is not a “troll” question. It’s for real. But I’m still going to ask anonymous because of the meanies.

If I am planning to travel to Spain, what cities and attractions are worth visiting?
Favourite answer:Which bit of Spain? Different regions specialise in different foods (like any country)
I'd suggest looking at a Spanish guide book and researching the main tourist destinations, then planning accordingly.

Can I have a reservation at two hotels at the same time? I know it sounds crazy and poorly planned.?
Ok, so I am going to Barcelona, Spain in January. At the same time I want to travel to Northern Spain for a day or so just to get a “tease” of it. I already booked a hote in Barcelona for a week as i will be flying from there back to New York.
Anyway, I was thinking of staying a night or 2 in the other cities like Seville and Granada just for a sample of what it’s like and then go back to Barcelona for the remainder of my trip.
Yes, it is extra money but I want to see those areas so badly. Is it legally ok? I am natural born American so I’m think this would not be a visa issue.

Travelling alone?
I've due to go on holiday this afternoon to a lovely hotel all inclusive in a quiet beach resort in Spain but due to family problems my best friend is now unable to go with me.
I'm considering going alone but I'm worried I'll get bored and lonely by myself, but I also don't want to waste the holiday.
Is it a bit pathetic to do it alone? There's not much around the area but a beach and a few restaurants/shops, the nearest city (Barcelona) is quite far away.
Does anyone else do stuff like this alone?

Where can I use my Bank of America debit card in Spain to withdraw from an ATM?
Will be staying in Madrid, Seville, and Barcelona and will probably want to withdraw cash from an ATM. What is the name of Bank of America's international partner in Spain?
