Is the Canadian / American rivalry as deep seated as the Scots/English one?

I'm English and I didn't realise there was a rivalry between us and the Scotish.

I know we're better than them!

The worst Canadian / American rivalry is on the show South Park. They slam on the Canadians all the time. Canadians thinks Americans are snobbish, arrogant, a**holes.

This is nothing compared to the Scots / English history, but today I think it's all about the same.

Canadians risked their lives to get some of my countrymen out of Iran back during the hostage crisis in 1980. If there's any rivalry, as far as I'm concerned it's just a friendly sports rivalry. I'll always love

Canada and the Canadians.

the scottish english rivalry is one way, I only knew about it about 2 years ago.

The only country rivalries I know of are UK and US, UK and France, and US and france

the scots - english rivalry died many centried ago. We are buddies now

I have a pal living in Canada and they dont seem that fond of Americans. He doesnt visit the USA very often either.
