Sarah C's advice is good. Trading Standards are excellent at helping out with consumer problems & it is free. Otherwise, get the 02 shop to make calls about your mobile problem, from their landline shop. Or..... would it be a problem to get a new SIM card? - You can buy them cheaply. Not sure if it is O2 you can get for £3. Best go to the small telephone shops and get their advice on the cheapest SIM, with charges to suit your calls. You usually get free £5 credit with your first paygo payment as well.

ive had this problem in the past, i found that if you reply to one of the messages with just the word STOP then it should go away, or alternatively just ask o2 to put a block on the numbers.
