Scratches on the hood?
The hood on my Mercedes has some fine scratches, it looks like the paintwork has been marked and someone has taken an abrasive pad and tried to remove those marks, leaving fine scratches behind. I am hoping I can use either a color wax polish or T cut to remove the scratches, who do you guys think?

Dont use a color polish it wont match your car color and it will show. Use a rubbing compound and a soft sponge aplicator. Rub it down using circular motions and you will see the paint coming off onto the sponge. The more and harder you rub the deeper you will get into the paint so be carefull not to go to far. What you are doing is removing the layers of paint which are scratched. Go to your local auto store and ask one of the representatives to show you their products. I like mothers.

Don't use anything that is abrasive. There is a product that you can find that will make those scratches disappear. It contains fine crystalline wax. Just keep waxing is and in time those lines will fill if they are not too deep.

Quit having sex on it and you won't get anymore scratches!!! Hee! Hee! It's very difficult to take out scratches! You might need a professional auto body shop.
