I collect old fountain pens, apart from Ebay does anyone know where you can buy them?

My friend shares an apartment with two other girls in Edinburgh whilst she is at Uni. One of the girls does drugs, her two brothers are dealers and her parents are on coke, nice huh? My friend is made to do dirty jobs for her because the flatmate has said that she will plant drugs in her room and call the cops and she has some tough friends.

My friend is also committed to paying rent at £330 a month till next July and cannot afford to pay rent twice

When I am charging my GPS from a car charger there is a light to tell me that it is connected but the battery is not being charged.

When the GPS is being charged from the mains there is no problem.

Friend took his car in for service at Nationwide Autocentres, they put a new air filter on it, when he got it home he checked the work and saw that the duct to the filter now had a hole in it. He took it back and the garage said that it could have happened on the way home, they werent responsible!!!

Do all garages behave in this way?

Anyone know of regular problems with Nationwide Autocentres, they took a car belonging to a friend of mine in for MOT, insisted it needed new brakes and wheel bearings, charged him £600 and didnt even keep the parts as proof!!!

Anyone had similar problems with these people?

The gear change on my manual Renault has become really sloppy, especially between 2nd and 3rd. gearbox going? The car has done 100,000 mainly motorway miles and the gears go in very cleanly, just a lot of movement and vagueness in the lever

The hood on my Mercedes has some fine scratches, it looks like the paintwork has been marked and someone has taken an abrasive pad and tried to remove those marks, leaving fine scratches behind. I am hoping I can use either a color wax polish or T cut to remove the scratches, who do you guys think?

Vauxhall Corsa 1.2i, engine turned over and started this morning and then died, wont restart and engine wont turnover, no dashboard lights at all coming on, similar problem last week, driving along, all the dashboard failed but engine kept going, any ideas? I suspect electrics or immobiliser

Must we buy cover for UK citizens who are in USA on a workmens compensation basis?

Just swapped a computer and on some internet sites I get a message "Run time error has occurred do you wish to debug Line 8, error object expected"

Anyone know what this means please?
