Can anyone suggest a good GPS navigational system at a reasonable price? Where exactly can I buy it?
I would say around $500? If you know of something better but more expensive, please let me know why you would recommend it.

I actually have a Motorola RAZR, and via Verizon, i'm getting maps, turn via turn guidelines, and the capability to seek for stuff (eating places, inn, dry cleaners, and so on.) close to a trip spot. It substitute into very efficient on a contemporary NYC holiday, and that i did no longer evenchronic there! the extra fee substitute into $10 a month, it extremely is extra low-fee (and with the quest function, simpler) than the equivalent Garmin or TomTom, which required some hundred dollars plus a month-to-month fee. while you're prepared to do without turn-via-turn guidelines, you will evaluate a handheld GPS via Garmin. those are frequently used for trekking, desert, and so on. identifying to purchase a unit with sturdy reminiscence, alongside with an added CD that has all US maps, would be tons whilst in comparison with their "vehicle based" instruments that look to start at approximately $4 hundred. a low-fee GPS expenditures under $one hundred. an more advantageous handheld unit with a map disk would desire to nevertheless run approximately $2 hundred, perhaps $250. which would be sufficient that may additionally assist you get around a clean city, or a minimum of provide you a clue as to the place you're, and the place that &*$#@! highway is. desire this enables!

I'm partial to TomTom5. You can read the reviews of various stand-alone GPS models at www.cnet.com. TomTom6 has also just been released so you might find a good deal in the next week or so on TomTom5. I bought mine through www.semsons.com, but I certainly wouldn't rule out ebay.
