Why do most cultures give boys more advantages over girls?

Question

Even the US, which considers itself 'developed', has yet to elect a woman president! 

But apart from that, most developing nations would rather sustain a boy child than a girl child (sometimes even bringing about her death due to negligence).

im sooo sick of women power   ............the fact is just like  u said men are  more powerful we are here for  WAR  ..... the world will never be controled by a women because the world is always at war ...............for women to be dominate  this could lead to world peace ......... and the world will never see that..... anyways  start living in reality if u think women will ever overcome men
