Is this appropriate for a Valentine's day date?
I am dating a girl and want to go out on 14th February. My plan is to take her out for dinner, with a decent bottle of wine and to give her some sunflowers and a DVD or two, and a couple of small plesents. We are only platonic friends, and I wish to show her that I do care, and cherish her friendship.

I would highly suggest not giving her as many gifts, she will be freaked out and will not how to respond. If you are getting the same thing in return, I advise not going all out. A dinner would be fine, leave it at that, tell her how you feel first before you spend that kind of money on her...believe me I've been there.

i really dont think buying her all those gifts are trying to show her that you care. just the fact that you wanna spend time with her is the thing that counts. your really just overdoing it with all of the gifts. just give he so flowers and some wine. and maybe tell her. unless your comfortable saying those 3 words. but just dont over do it. here's a tip. most girls dont like when you try to them alot of gifts. they just enjoy the fact that your willing to spend time with her and she wants to spend time with you. good luck!!
