    He was one of those performers that transcends all genre. almost everybody knew of him and even if they did not particularly like opera they knew his voice was awesome.

    Thanks to the modern marvels of CD's and such, his voice will always be with us, but the spark that made him who he was will be missed.

    Well, I think the first thing I said was something like "I thought he was already dead". I don't want to say I don't care but I mean this is some guy I never knew so why would I feel any sadness apart from the kind of sympathetic sadness for those close to him.

    He was a great talent, and will be missed.

    Like many others, he was not taking care of himself, though with Pancreatic Cancer, it does not make much difference either way.

    So why is Keith Richards still around anyway?
