UK: Did any pensioners get this weeks pension last week?
I normally collect a pension for a pensioner on Mondays, she believed it would be paid into her account last Friday, but it hadn't been paid in then. The post office lady asked when it was usually paid, I replied Monday, she told me it would be available Monday "$th December. But no post office in this area was open.
It is not a problem, just wondering if any pensioners got paid for this week, last week.
Must have held shift button down "$ should have been 24th December.

Post Offices were open half day on 24th december. Also all pensions are direct credits so you can draw money anywhere, not just the Post Office.. Al;so if you use a Bank current account for your income and finances, not just a Post office account, which is a waste of time, you can get a debit card, to withdraw money anywhere, or shop without cash if you wish.

i was told my pension would be paid on friday,by dwp.went to post office,soooorrrryyyy, it will be monday. lady in po say i only one of 10000000 who will not get money,she say come back monday,we open 3 hours. get in queue at 6am sunday !!!!! so i get in queue. 11 am monday po has no money left. it big problem for me!!!! after last weeks money,i bought all the wine,champagne beers spirits now i have to have beens on toast forChristmas dinner. Seriously. This Government has LOT to answer for, some people will be in dire **** because of this major f@@k up!!!! I sincerely hope all those let down manage to cope,I HOPE YOU HAVE GOOD ONE.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

if the pension was due today Monday you should have drawn it today only the people who have pensions due Tuesday and Wednesday could have drawn it on Friday the 21st

Mine comes in once a month on the dot never early,never late, just not enough of it to last until the next one comes in, a common problem I believe.
