How many other people have heard the name Mwai Kibaki ...?
... and thought it sounded like "Wacky Baccy"?
I snigger everytime I hear the name.
But I'm not sniggering at the violence that is occurring in Kenya.
I remember some years ago, Robert Mugabe was ridiculed because his surname spelled backwards looked like "'e, ba gum" a popular saying in the North of England.
It's not just people's names which are funny, there are a lot of products on the world's markets that give us all a titter.
I just thought that since he has been doing a lot of weird things to his country, that he may have been on some "wacky baccy".
I just wish that those nation leaders (worldwide) would come to their senses and see what their selfishness is doing in destroying their countries. They may have fancy technology in their palaces and mansions but their mindset is stuck in corruption mode.

Come on, Rob, I'm sure some of our names sound strange to people in Africa.... though Cullybackey's not much different (its in N Ireland, UK) but surely its a matter of allowing your mind to expand and enjoy the cultural richness and breadth of other languages, not laugh at them!
