Do you wake up to love?

My darling

Good morning, good morning my love

I sing so sweetly from the clouds above

High in the sky on a beautiful white dove

singing songs to you, the words are of love.

The day grows long but it does not end

Flowers, roses and my heartto you I send

I'm still flying high amongst the stars

With your love burnt into my heart.

The dove settles down upon the ground

The trees, the flowers all around

In the distance I see a face

It's you stand there in our favourite place

Out lips caress, our arms entwine

now I know that you are mine

forever and a day our love will grow

I want to shout to the world, I love you so

    The Honest one, I like your poem. You must love someone a lot to write a love poem with such tenderness. I think my favorite stanza is the third one "in the distance I see a face - it's you standing here in our favorite place.

    sometimes i wake up grumpy... other days i let her sleep in for a while
