The Honest one
I call myself the Honest one, So beware as I only give honest answers, no matter if the person asking the question likes it or not. I do not answer any questions with one simple line, I look into depth at each question and answer with honesty. These are real people asking real questions that matter a great deal to them. It is not just a way off getting 2 points for some simplistic answer, that is not helping anyone and only making yourself look a fool

I feel so lost with out you
I wake in the morning to find you had gone
I looked every where, even sang your favorite song
Just to hear you giggle and laugh as we you used to do
But alas my darling although I tried, I couldn’t find you
I walked the empty streets at night just as we used to
In the hope of catching just a tiny glimpse of you
But no where were you to be found in this lonely place
I sit on the floor so cold with the wind and tears in my face
Four hours I sat at home with my thoughts just waiting
To hear once again the gate do it’s grind and grating
But the sound never came although my ear’s strained hard
My body shook as I fell into tears at my broken heart
But then I remembered you were never coming back
I followed your coffin along that long solitary weary track
I sadly laid you to rest alone in that dark hallowed ground
Crying along with the all the people that stood around
I walked in the morning to that lonely and secluded place
I stood remembering you, a woman with air and grace
How I long to have you standing with me out from the dirty hole
I wasn’t with you for your last dying breath, so you I could hold
But your last breath was many miles away from me
You left me torn, shattered with tears and hurt as you can see
I lay upon the wet grassy floor just to feel closer to you
A gun to my head pull the trigger quick now I always be with you

8 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you ever feel like me?
If I could compare you
If I could compare you
I would compare you to a summer breeze
That starts at my head and ends around my knees
You’d wrap me up in your summer warmth
Keeping me in comfort just as I been joyfully born
If I could compare you
I would compare you as winters go
You would cover my world in virgin white snow
To see such wonder would never be boring
To sleep the night only to see you again I the morning
If I could compare you
I would compare you to an autumn leaf
Its soft golden colour is beautiful and far beyond belief
I’d this home carefully and place it in a book
And when I feel so lonely, I’d open you up just to take a look
If I could compare you
I would compare you to the fresh smell of spring
You would capture my soul and my heart unlike any thing
I would help you watch the flowers grow
Then take the feeling with me all the way home

14 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you think Trees sing at night?
The night tree song
Oh night tree with your branches rising high
Lift your silent yet beautiful voice high in the sky
Tell the world what wonders and sadness you have seen
Even though you are just a tree
But I’m not just a tree or an image you see, it softly sung
I’m here in the night and when another day has begun
I offer fruit for the hungry, beauty and shade from with in
When the heat of the afternoon sun’s just beginning
Oh night tree with your beauty and the strength you hide
How many people never look at you, but just pass by
Do they notice how old, intelligent and strong you are
For I know how deep the beauty lies silently with in you by far
So my night tree song sing for me, please let me hear
The wonders of the world you have seen in good and fear
Sing me a lullaby that will send me off a sleeping
As I rest in your branches through the night for your keeping

11 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you wake up to love?
My darling
Good morning, good morning my love
I sing so sweetly from the clouds above
High in the sky on a beautiful white dove
singing songs to you, the words are of love.
The day grows long but it does not end
Flowers, roses and my heartto you I send
I'm still flying high amongst the stars
With your love burnt into my heart.
The dove settles down upon the ground
The trees, the flowers all around
In the distance I see a face
It's you stand there in our favourite place
Out lips caress, our arms entwine
now I know that you are mine
forever and a day our love will grow
I want to shout to the world, I love you so
7 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoWill my old friend, Grumpy old man, like the words to a song he asked me to write?
WILL YOU COME HOME
Time goes by so slowly now, so I phoned you for a reason.
I’ll make it clear as you will see, I’ve gone through all seasons.
With out you by my side, I have this burning question I just have to ask.
I can’t stand these tears no longer and the pain goes slowly past.
(Chorus)
Darling I ask you, will you come home, my lover will you come home.
Darling I need you, to feel you so I’d love you to come home.
Since you left, my life has been so lonely, so empty since you left me on that day.
With hand on heart I can only say the only thing I miss is you each and every day.
I need to feel your arms around me, your lips on mine, holding me so close.
Now I feel so helpless I don’t know what to do, I need you more and more.
(Chorus)
Remember the wonderful days when together we would laugh, cry and love.
How we would walk and talk for hours, then make love under the stars above.
Those were the happiest days one can remember of my entire but now loveless life.
4 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoWhat did love say? Part one?
I wrote this when I was 12 years old. I am amazed at its content but not of it’s subject, what do you think?
For a day I spoke to love, love told me such wonderful things about how people feel when they are in love.
Love told me that there was a wonderful world of emotions that twisted your insides making you feel like a person happy to be a live.
Love told me about the feeling of being wanted, cherished and nurtured and how the feeling can set your heart racing, filling it with joy and happiness.
I was so impressed with what love was saying, I asked if I was possible for me to have some, With glee it was offered to me, but what did not tell me, was that love can also be a nightmare.
Yes, I have the emotion, but it’s been twisted, screwed, tortured and burnt through jealously and selfishness. It’s been undermined, battered and least of all stamped on by a giant foot.
4 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you see Trees the way I do?
I walked up to a weeping willow and asked him his name?
You know my name my friend it is always the same
I asked him why his branches fall down into cold rushing water?
He replied. It’s not just water It’s the tear of people who falter
I walked up to an oak tree and asked him his name?
Thousands upon thousands of years it’s always been the same
I asked the Oak tree, why he was so big and fat with braches oh so long?
He replied, There to catch the minute music from all the churches praising song
I walked up to a Pine tree and asked him his name?
For years and years it’s always been the same
I asked the pine tree, why his tree was so beautiful yet painful to touch?
He replied, the devil makes beautiful things, but in the end the pain is jut to much
11 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoWhy would we listen to the many sounds of nature,?
Dedicated and Inspired by Sarah R.
We live in a world of nothing but concrete, glass and stone,
Slowly opening the door to our two up two down tiny little home,
For this was not the case many years ago, before the world did change,
We knew nothing of the world of tall buildings, currencies and exchange,
We lived in huts made out of wood and bracken for the roof,
We walked for miles or if by chance, would be taken by horses hoof,
For many a mile in sky or land we would see the nature all around,
Not big blocks where people work, that shuns the sun from warming the ground,
We could see the Eagles fly the rabbit run a wild to the forest where he can conceal,
Away from the eyes of the hungry Eagle who is desperately seeking a meal,
In the city all we see are hungry seagulls fighting to eat from dirty bins
Not once do we see nature at it’s best, just the noise of city life, forever an awful din
4 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoWhat do you see or hear in a waterfall?
The waterfall
One day when I was walking, I heard a wonderful sound
But unknown where it was coming from as it was all around
I listened to it very carefully and pin-pointed the real source
Then gently walked towards it, I looked in wonder; it was a waterfall
At first it sounded like a piccolo, a violin and a harp
The rhythm softy sweeping, kept in time with my beating heart
As I walked along the edge, the music suddenly changed its’ tune
The beat in me grew faster like a trumpet loudly playing some romantic blues
The water ran much faster, I had trouble keeping up the pace
The sound of a drummer, a guitar and a bass were leading this fruitful race
At last I got to the waterfalls’ edge and much to my surprise
An orchestra was playing there right before my eyes
There were trumpets, trombones, violins, more than I could see with music all around
What was yet to come, the crescendo, the cymbals and drums gave a crashing sound
A waterfall is not a thing that just crashes to the ground
Listen to the music it makes not only in the air, but deep inside of you, even all around.

10 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you ever listen?
Shhh
Shhh, listen can you hear the wind blowing through the trees?
If you watch even closer you can watch the dancing leaves,
If you listen very carefully you can hear their joyful song,
Their songs will never end as they sing softly all year long,
Shhh listen can you hear the sound of the sea its wave lapping at the shore?
Just like a symphony who loves to play, playing louder more and more,
At times the raging sea like a well rehearsed crescendo,
The drum banging down hard on the sand; after a time it begins to mellow,
Shhh listen can you hear the Robin claiming the right to his very own space?
His song so sweet to attract his mate, to continue their own special race,
A Robins song is one of beauty, like love flowing gently through the air
The song continues forever, his mate appears and there song, so fair
Shhh listen can you hear that noise, so far but yet so near?
It’s the start of a water fall that flows softly, like a melody to your ear.
It starts like a whistle, a violin,

3 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you ever look at the sky the way I do ?
The moon, The Stars, The Sun
The moon aglow so high up above,
Looking down on the world with its’ tender love,
Its’ silver rays caress our world,
It’s there for us, as it follows us home,
It never asks us for anything, through the night,
Just to wonder at the beautiful sight.
Oh night of darkness, sky full of stars,
Put your elegant diamonds in everyone’s heart,
For it is said that the sky is full of twinkles,
For lover to play and comfort of the singles
They never ask anything throughout the night,
Just that we marvel at the wondrous sight.
The moon sometimes never shines, but silently hides away
To show us all in a wondrous look of the heavens all ablaze.
The sparkling diamonds we forever call stars
Come alive and brighter as the times gently pass.
The lights from heaven are in a world of their own.
The ships that charter their course by stars, arrive safely home
But they ask for nothing just being there,
Just to gaze now and then and thank them with a prayer.
The sun its’ warm
8 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you think I am starting to put my past to rest?
Someone suggested that I am living in the past, to them I thank as it inspired me to write the following. It came from the heart.
My forgiveness
My father, I forgive you, for the things that you have done
You treated me like a nothing instead of being a son
The world has taught me many things since I left home that day
And one of those is forgiveness in many different ways
I forgive you for the pain you offered to me, each and every day
I forgive you the hurt you caused the physical searing pain
But each day I walk the streets of my new home city
I think of how my life was then, it was such a pity
My father I forgive you, I know you did not pray
But should you be in heaven, thank God you’ve had your day
For God has taken pity on you, Just listen to what he has to say
Kneel before him, in the hope he hears you pray.
Pray for all the sins you have taken part and witnessed on earth beneath you,
For the abuse, the pain and suffering to all the children that you knew
Pray before God
4 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDo you think I am happy?
Hi friends and other Q/A people. I had a violation for my poem called Dream or Reality. However I wrote back to the Yahoo Customer service as soon as I got the violation, this is what I wrote.
Dear Yahoo customer service.
I am some what unsure as to the warrant of having my poem for Q/A poetry being called a “violation”, re (a dream or reality) If you re-read the poem you will find there is a question in the title (A dream or reality?) but I missed out the question mark).
However a poem is not about getting answers, or setting questions, it does however create thought provoking responses; A book of poetry does not have question at the end of each poem, but lets the reader set there own questions and look for the answer with in the poem or within themselves.
