how do i make my pokemon walk around with me?

Sorry hun, but you can't get pokemon to walk with you in Diamond or Pearl unless you go into 'Amity Square' and even that has it's limitations. You can only bring in the following Pokemon:

- Pikachu --> Obtainable in Trophy Garden (In the Mansion Garden on route 212)

- Clefairy --> Obtainable in Mt. Coronet and in Trophy Garden (on certain days)

- Skitty --> Obtainable AFTER receiving the National Pokedex and talking to Lucas/Dawn's younger sister about them Swarming on Route 222

- Shroomish --> Obtainable AFTER receiving the National Pokedex and going to the Great Marsh in Pastoria City

- Psyduck --> Obtainable via fishing or surfing practically anywhere (Twinleaf town and Eterna city are guarenteed Psyduck areas)

- Pachirisu --> Obtainable via route 205, the Fuego Ironworks (below Eterna Forest and above Floroma Town), and the Valley Windworks (east of Floroma Town)

- Torchic --> Obtainable AFTER receiving the National Pokedex, and can only be obtained via Pal Park (at the end of route 221) Pal Park requires Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green/Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald inserted in the bottom of the DS with a minimum of 6 pokemon in one box (THESE POKEMON MUST NOT KNOW HIDDEN MOVES SUCH AS CUT OR SURF!)

- Drifloon --> Obtainable only on FRIDAYS at the Valley Windworks

- Buneary --> Obtainable in Eterna Forest

- Happiny --> Obtainable via the hiker at the east gate of Hearthome City, in Trophy Garden, or by breeding Chansey with the Luck Incense attached (in the cave on route 204, past the rocks, requires a Pokemon that knows Surf and another Pokemon that knows Rock Smash)

Even though the number of Pokemon it allows is rediculous, Amity Square is actually a good place to go :) When you talk to your Pokemon, occationally they will have picked up an item off the ground such as rare berries and fashion case accessories :D

As for your Rock Smash dilemma, you need to reach the Orebough Gate (which is east of Jubilife City). When you enter the cave, you will find a hiker who will give you HM 06 aka Rock Smash. He may have given you the HM, but in order to use Rock Smash outside of battle, you need to battle the Orebough Gym leader (when you go to the gym, your rival will be there instead, if you want to find him he is in the coal mines in Orebough which is south of the Pokemon Center)

You can't. Not on Pokemon Diamond. They always stay inside thier pokeballs.

Unless you go to Amity Square in Hearthrome City. Only there will pokemon walk around beside you but you can only do this with one of the following Pokemon: Pikachu, Clefairy, Psyduck, Pachirisu, Happiny, Buneary or Drifloon.

your pokemon can only walk behind you if your playing the special pikachu edition [which i have] unless you go to amity square in hearthome. if you started with chimchar then teach it rock smash. if you have bidoof teach it rock smash. but the rock has to look light brown like a tannish color and go up to it and press the A button. but however, you MUST have the oreburg gym badge to use it.

my other info to help you on the game is to save just before you get to dialga and try as many times as it takes to catch it. i would still if it took me 100 times! if you loike dialga then thats fine but if you dont DEFINITLY catch it SOOOO many ppl would give you anything for it. suggestion= wait until you have completed the game u will meet an ace trainer that has a salamence when its on your dex u can trade dialga 4 it you would get that salamences r sooo amazin every1 loves them but u would get 1 for dialga
