Polls say Obama is ahead. A coworker tossed out the premise that a substantial # of folks could be pro McCain?

but reluctant to admit it because of the current economic mess being blamed on Republicans and fear of being labelled a racist. Opinions of this theory please.

I think it's highly likely. There could certainly be enough people who feel like this to swing the result.

Polls are just a mere slice of the population. To say that any one poll really is the end all be all would mean that it was a vote.

The only poll that matters it the one on Nov. 4th. Go and vote your conscience and vote on a paper ballot. Machines can be rigged. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JESZiLpBLE Vote for the one that YOU think should be president. Ignore the polls and vote.

Yes many McCain voters, like Mccain are not fond of the internet and do not take part in many polls don'tcha know that.

  • It has already been proven that this has happened before and will likely happen in this election. It is known as the Bradley effect.

If you are saying that a lot of McCain supporters are racists, cowards and liars, I'll have to take your word for it.
