network 3 mms & wap settings ?

Question

Hi could anyone help im looking for the network 3 mms & wap settings for a sony ericsson k850i ive tried downloading the settings from the sony website but no text mssage has come through for the settings & have been told by the "3" store that unless its a "3" branded phone then i might have problems getting the settings ive looked on the "3" website with no joy ! the phone was bought as new & is genetically unlocked i.e has not been locked to any network any help would be appreciated

I've had some fun with 3 settings in my sim free w660! Once the settings are in, make sure they work by getting someone to send you a picture message. As long as you don't change the sim, the settings will work fine. 3 are partly right in that some things don't work, such as msn messenger or google maps with their network. 
Otherwise it should be fine. 
As I say, I only had problems when I've fiddled and changed sims to another network temporarily. 
If the settings from sony ericsson don't download straight away, try sticking for instance an orange sim in (or whatever the strongest signal is where you are). That's worked for me. Obviously only send yourself the 3 settings, otherwise you'll possibly get the problem I mentioned previously.
Sometimes there is just no way it'll work and it's worth leaving it for an hour or two, going back to the sony ericsson website and doing it again. That's happened to me too. I guessed it was a fault at their end.

in case you placed up an O2 account on line you could request your settings from there. fairly they deliver them to you by text textile for unfastened! in case you somewhat won't be in a position to discover the suited settings only pop into your nearest O2 save and that they'll do it for you ... for unfastened!! xx
