Would you be shocked if the BBC brought back the Krotons?

It would depend how it was done. The Krotons were a bit rubbish back in 1969, but with today's special effects and production values they could be made rather more interesting, believable and scary perhaps.

Apparently, there are plans to bring back the Nimon for one of the 2009 specials, and to be perfectly honest the Nimon were one of the most badly realised monsters ever to appear on Doctor Who. I would go as far as to say they were laughable in fact. The concept of a parasitic alien species which goes from planet to planet, stripping their resources and leaving them devastated is a good one, however, and hopefully will be done much better than in the 1970s. I would say it could be a similar situation with the Krotons.

There are certainly better and more iconic DW monsters I would like to see return, however, before the Krotons were considered. E.g. The Ice Warriors, The Great Intelligence and the Yeti, The Sea Devils and Silurians, and possibly the Zygons.

Who are the Krotons, as i can just remember Tom Baker's 4th Doctor before he turned into Peter Davidson's the 5th Doctor.

I hope not, it's the one video I've never got to the end of because I always fall asleep !

Then again we never thought the BBC would bring back the Candyman but there he was at Christmas all cybered up and stomping over London.

The buzz is to expect to see more new monsters than the nostalgic from Moffat.
