Well I'm learing guitar it's really hard, and I want to learn drums too, but I think you should learn how to play drums first they look a lot easier

both. I just finished learning piano and now I'm moving on to guitar! It was a toss up between that and drums, but I got a fender foe X-Mas, so guitar it is!

Good question, its hard but maybe Guitar. I have one but I want to play drums

I'd love to learn both as well, but there is no "better" instrument.

It's all down to personal choice. When you play an instrument at first, you will feel like it's either fun or boring to play. I haven't tried out drums yet, but I think I'd rather learn the guitar.

It's much easier to transport and if you have an acoustic, all the better, you can serenade someone you like with it when you have it with you.

Drums, definitely. Any fool can play a few chords on the guitar. Why not be unique? Also, drummers get a lot of respect for what they do, especially once you get really good!

  • I play both and it depends what you feel you'd be better suited to to be honest.

Guitar's more melodies and can get quite complicated as you progress (music theory, learning scales and so on), but then again it enables you to write songs etc, which is really useful, if you can sing then it's even better.

Also if you're planning on playing in a band then guitarists get more of the 'spotlight' with the solos and stuff.

Drums are awesome though, especially if you're more into rhythm and hitting things :).

As long as you don't mind being relied on to keep the beat for the band and so on, I'd recommend drums.

But of course if you're doing it just for fun or as a new challenge then just think of one of your favourite musicians and see what instrument they play and go with that. (My favourite musician's Travis Barker, he's an awesome drummer!)

If all else fails, play both, it's the best of both worlds then.

    Good luck choosing!

Drums for me though, because i'm left handed and i don't know if you there are many left handed guitars about where I live.
